Iced drinks are quite popular here but more in afternoons (think video is morning) & December 2020, & summer, in Melbourne wasn't as hot as usual. I watched a barista vlog who worked in Sydney, & they made many iced drinks
I work as a barista near here and they're definitely popular, not so much in the mornings though! And I notice more people purchase iced coffee from drive through places because it's harder to mess up than hot coffee lol

Wondering re that too. In her first couple barista videos, Laura didn't blur anyone which i thought could be of concern. While it can be ok in public outside (only) to film anyone, in Australia, the law prohibits recording of ‘private activity’ or 'private conversation' unless the device user is a part of the group, or if can 'reasonably' expect anyone would see it, or might hear it. hot coffees are generally more popular in australia :)) i find that you can taste the flavour more when hot and i love textured milk ☺️
