The collab we all needed. We all need to put on a petition to get Laura back behind the bar and giving us all that content. I made my own playlist of her barista vlogs so that I don't have to find my favorites anymore. Although other people probably find her vlogs on the Melbourne area very informative.
Wow. What a vlog featuring Laura! Such a huge fan of her! Her cafe vlogs are inspirational. I learned how to be a barista and all the concepts, skills and techniques you guys taught us, made me motivated and learned how to make coffee! Thank you guys! I love u all!
Great videos.I/ve watched many Artisti's and Laura's videos and love them all. Have you been to Axil Coffee Roasters? I go to the shop in Hawthorn. I love them too. They have a world champion barista there. During the world championship my wife and I were in Greece and the coffee shop we were in were watching it on TH-cam. We had such laugh when they realised we were from Melbourne.🥰 Bob
I really like the mention of "the right barista can make the most of the tools that they've got... But there's definitely a level of coffee making that comes from the machine" Hearing you guys talk about that and also how you pay attention to the coffee equipment when you walk into a cafe just reassures me that I shouldn't feel bad for doing the same xD But also, I recently left my last workplace because I had found myself to be tired of the dated equipment. Specifically the grinder which was a La Marzocco Manual Grinder. It couldn't keep up with consistency during high demand, I felt there was a lot of area of wastage if you find that the grinder needs to be adjusted in the middle of a busy service but the doser is filled with ground coffee already (I mean, we had use for this excess coffee, but if it wasnt for making coffee I found it to be wasteful) And also I don't think the coffee machine had been serviced in a while. It didn't make me feel satisfied all the time with what I'm serving to the customers and I just felt very limited to how much I can work with the tools I've got if it doesn't meet the standard it should. It's reassuring now to know that the equipment is just as important as the skill of the barista if you want good coffee. Thank you for that 🙏
Sounds like you made the right call to leave. The machine plays a huge role, never feel bad for knowing that. A good machine can give a good barista the tools they need to make great coffee 👌🏼
Glad to learn of Laura and her TH-cam channel - new to me. Will definitely check her channel out. Sounds like I'd be much much happier with Sydney/Gold Coast style coffees than those in Melbourne. Enjoyed the tour. Went by too quickly, which means it was interesting.
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters Wait you only went to two cafes? Should have went back to Seven Seeds! lol I don't think she watches Artisti. You guys are all about the gear!

Omg so random lol. I've been watching laura's cafe vlog but unfortunately she stopped 😢.
She’s no longer working in the cafe but still making great content.
Great video, I noted down all your recommendations to try, but Laura is very hard to hear unfortunately
Wait me, I’ll be there I want to join
Next time 😉
Background music ruins the review, but great Melb coffee content ☕️☕️
Thanks 🙏🏻
They have to put background music over the cafe music to prevent YT copyright.
