But, the parody of him failing at games...is the exact things we've gotten on to him about. I have to admit, this Project 7 thing seemed promising, even if it lacked some important stuff. He would need to have been good at video games in the past, and he would need to improve at some point. In fact, this is something that could have been done alongside his regular gameplay. The storyline as I imagine it would keep part of the opening minus the not-taking-the-villain-seriously part. After the reveal, instead of being sent to different worlds, he would reform his gaming powers through gameplay and taking the advice of others. That's how they were made in the first place. His friends, being friends, would cooperate with him to make him into a better gamer than before. Unfortunately, knowing some of his history, all of this seems uncertain. This storyline would also require him to make some positive changes to his personality, and we all know that's not happening.
He is probably trying to say he was good when he won in that ssf turbo tourney. that game wasn't even ssf. it was like some cheap knock off that was more broken than every single cod squared. he even came in fourth. he gets dicked on and bodied in every game he plays.

The posters on his wall that he got hate for in the original represent them "taking him out of context" and the stealing of gaming powers in the reboot represents TIHYDPs. I have to admit, this Project 7 thing seemed promising, even if it lacked some important stuff. He would need to have been good at video games in the past, and he would need to improve at some point. In fact, this is something that could have been done alongside his regular gameplay.
The storyline as I imagine it would keep part of the opening minus the not-taking-the-villain-seriously part. After the reveal, instead of being sent to different worlds, he would reform his gaming powers through gameplay and taking the advice of others. That's how they were made in the first place. His friends, being friends, would cooperate with him to make him into a better gamer than before.
Unfortunately, knowing some of his history, all of this seems uncertain. This storyline would also require him to make some positive changes to his personality, and we all know that's not happening.
He is probably trying to say he was good when he won in that ssf turbo tourney. that game wasn't even ssf. it was like some cheap knock off that was more broken than every single cod squared. he even came in fourth. he gets dicked on and bodied in every game he plays.
The problem with your idea is that Phil is a narcissist and he already believes he's perfect, and anyone that says otherwise is a hater. Project 7 is him expressing this through fiction, just look at the story. Deathface and his minions represent the detractors. The posters on his wall that he got hate for in the original represent them "taking him out of context" and the stealing of gaming powers in the reboot represents TIHYDPs. It's because he genuinely believes that he's never said anything wrong and that he's amazing at games, so anyone who criticizes him must be either a liar or a victim of a liar.

Holy Shit. I heard that Project 7 was the stuff of legend in terms of bad acting, but this goes beyond that. I don't even know where to start. The bad acting? The shameless plugs to Phil's gaming videos? The goddamn t-shirt that is supposed to pass as a mask? The fact that the so called "worst game ever" is actually Final Fantasy VII? The non existent "gaming powers"? Everything about this show is just total crap. Tommy Wiseau did his own version of this same premise and even it was better than this.

After watching Maximilian's special livestream yesterday, Max's friends never had any experience with acting but they pulled it off so amazingly, All of THIS is so fucking cringe worthy, Great quality camera but that's it. Just think how had it will be if he did do it with none of his friends except his bitch girlfriend.
