Phil always brags that his gameplay is "raw" (his catch phrase for lazy), that it's "unedited" and "meant to be played and experienced just as you the gamer would at home". So, how exactly does one have a bunch of people giving him things, guiding him along, etc...give people said experience? Busttttted Phil!
One of the best pyromancy spells in the game is called "Flash Sweat", which helps reduce fire damage, and is extremely useful in firey areas like Lost Izalith later in the game, and Phil just carelessly kills the pyromancy trainer who is able to teach it. Ah classic DSP and his lack of common sense. Anyways, good endure guys. Looking forward to Lets Endure Dark Souls 2, whenever that might be :)
After watching the TIHYDP for Metroid Prime, I have to wonder if DSP has some morbid fear of lock-on. Considering that he apparently skipped out on the entirety of gaming between the early 90s and the late 00s because of being locked in the competitive Street Fighter scene (lol), I probably shouldn't be surprised. EDIT: Yep, DSP indeed made the same mistakes when playing Metroid Prime in reference to not dodging or locking on.
Well. I liked that the SoK did Dark Souls, but that one guy (I couldn't understand his name, the dude with the strong accent) was incredibly annoying. I'm really sorry to say this, but having him as the (sorta) Souls expert was a bad decision. He's hard to understand, often doesn't even form grammatically correct sentences and half the things he says about the game are flat out incorrect (ex.:you can't buttstab the boars in Duke's Archives, jumping distance is not dependant on your equip load, the Gravelord Sword is not a Greatsword). Now not knowing these things is obviously not a problem, but at the same time he came across to me as if he thought he knew a lot about the game, which is the main problem I have with him. The other half of his commentary consists largely of nitpicking about irrelevant things while missing obvious stuff that he probably should explain to the other commentators that don't know that much about the game. He also gives Phil shit in the few situations where people who are new to the game pretty much always mess up - A lot of people die to Asylum Demon once, most people get rekt by skeletons once, not understanding how Snuggly the Crow works is forgiveable (having to go there because you attacked the merchant that normally sells curse-removal items or because you were too stupid to find her isn't though). Phil makes a fool of himself enough, at least give him credit where it's due. I'm sorry, but I really feel like the guy's commentary did not add to this Let's Endure in the slightest, he was just annoying. Please don't have him for DS2 and DeS.Also, I sorely missed a couple really good scenes from the source material (Phil's reaction to being cursed, his epic struggle against the Channelers, Moonlight Butterfly, him falling into the Stray Demon's Boss area to name a few). But including every good scene from this long playthrough would've probably had half of you go insane by the end.Still a great video, and I hope there's more of these to come! At least the SoK won't ever have to worry about running out of TIHYDPs...

I used them to breeze through NG+ to get the rest of achievements and O&S became easy as fuck. And I had to get Super Ornstein (which I dreaded). But BoC is always BS, even for speedrunners.
