បាទ សូមអរគុណ was យើងប្រើជាមួយ បុរសទី១ឯកវចនៈ ( first person Singular = I ) ហើយនឹង បុរសទី ៣ឯកវចនៈ (Third person Singular = he, she , and it)
Example I was a child in 2000.
Were បើជាមួយ បុរសទី ១ ពហុវចនព (First person Plural = we)បុរសទី២ពហុវចនៈផង នឹង ឯកវចនៈផង (second person Singular and plural = you) និង បរុសទី៣ ពហុវចនៈ (third person plural = They)
Example we were a children in 2000.
You were a child in 2000
They were children in 2000
