The Marco romance subplots are frustrating, because they just start and stop without much (or any) real point. They just happen, then are tossed away. Star has been with Tom for two seasons, and their relationship has adapted and grown over the entire series. The writers put effort into it, and even if they break up, it feels properly explored. Marco? Was in love with Jackie forever, finally started dating her.... and she was in 3 episodes after that, one where Marco couldn’t be bothered to give her some attention and they break up. Like, no time was spent with them, and when the plot demanded it, it just ended. Now Kelly. They teased it for a while, it finally happened. And again, they don’t do anything with it. They didn’t explore it, didn’t let it run it’s course. Even if they broke up in the end, at least have it matter to the story in the meantime. Not just a thing that happens, then doesn’t. I know it’s all to set up the endgame, gotta get him available for Star because plot demands it. Which makes it frustrating. It’s not the Bloodmoon Ball jerking Marco around, it’s the writers. They shouldn’t have even bothered with romantic subplots for him, if they were going to not care to do anything with them.
Yeah, it does get frustrating after a while. If the end goalnis to get star and marco togegher, I'll be a little disappointed. The two main characters don't necessarily have to end up together.
That’s what I want, at this point. Right now, in this moment, them ending up together would feel like it’s just because, that’s what shows do. They work great as best friends, why can’t that be enough? Honestly, I’m just wore out on the “will they won’t they” crap.
They kinda dug their own grave, with how much Starco teasing happened. It would be awfully lackluster if they didn’t end up together, and a big chunk of the fandom would be furious.
I just realized, that bow that was in the ruins. I'm feeling that the reason Globgor was originally crystallized was because Meteora was being taken from him, and that was when he was frozen in that pose, as she was taken away.
@Stingy Jew Well about that... She's crazy, not stupid... She isn't going to go into combat without backup, that's why she tried the sneaky approach of using Yada Yada berries to poison her enemy first. At this point her plan seems to be "Raise army of magically jacked super solders like myself for backup."(Outfitted in the old armor of her comrades...) There is also that village of disgruntled mewmans she could easily recruit, which includes Manfread(Which means the rest of her crows are probably also not statues anymore... If she jacks them up the way she Jacked up ol' one eye they alone could be a formidable force...) Also speaking of the MHC, they are BROKEN... It wouldn't be hard for her to recruit Rhombulus at this point if she busts him out of jail. (That leaves just two members of the MHC possibly on team Eclipsa... To deal with what will probably be a surprise attack of Solarian Warriors.... Star had trouble in a one on one with Mina and didn't have the benifit of Meteora's soul sucking spell to level that playing field... Something that Mina at this point is likely to be aware of... And if she gets Rhombulus on her side, well it shouldn't take long for him to take the baby out of the fight...
@Stingy Jew To be honest...Mina is the last of what's left of Solarias army..I just wonder how the other ones died if they were immortal like Mina.Did Eclipsa kill all of them with the death spell?because what other way is there to get rid of an immortal being?

Christian Craig Tbh I love Eclipsa but the writers should have never put her as queen. She’s better off as an advisor not a ruler. Her pouting is slightly understandable but at this point Star should be queen.
Have you been watching this season at all? Eclipsa HAS been running Mewni. How is giving monsters rights a nuisance? Star has only been giving advice like an advisor, just the way people have been helping HER and giving HER advice the entire series. Eclipsa is fit to be queen. Of course she “has the nerve” to pout. Have you forgotten everything that’s been done to her and her family? Her decisions as queen are basically what Moon’s mother Comet would have done had she lived long enough to sign the treaty.
This exactly!! And I actually really like that lol. It’s like she’s getting a taste of her own medicine from how her parents must have felt putting up with her back in season 1 when SHE was impossible to work with

Eclipsa never wanted to be queen and the people don't want her to be queen either, it's hard to be a good leader when people actively despise you while also having no desire to rule at all. Eclipsa does have a lot of wisdom though, she and Moon should be advisors for Star, it would be the best outcome in my opinion. Edit: Stomco forever!!!
@@Karas540 Exactly, it was never specifically said that Eclipsa did not want to govern, simply that in her time she could not be Queen and have Globgor as a husband at the same time. But now that he is free and the people of Mewni already seem to accept it, I think that Eclipsa will finally be dedicated to being a good Queen.
Bridgette Lair well eclipsa wanted peace and alliance between mewmans and other creatures. But everybody chose to declare war and divide and her marriage with king shastican made the war increasingly more violent and brutal. She hoped her marriage with globgor could bring everlasting peace between monsters and mewmans. Being with the guy she loved was a bonus. She does care to govern her kingdom but nobody else cared and honestly I can't blame her for her decisions. Globgor was strongly against toffee's plans for mass mewman genocide and tried so many times to find a way to diplomatically sway them but he finally was able to dull down their uprising but he needed eclipsa's word that the solarian warriors (they were still active for a little while longer even after solaria's death) wouldn't act so aggressively towards the monsters in which she couldn't promise him that. So as a last resort, he got her to run away with him in hopes that it would save BOTH of their kingdoms. It's not that eclipsa doesn't care but if everybody else doesn't care and only ever chose war, violence, harsh judgment, mistreatment of monsters and hate; then what all can she try? After reading the book of spells, star was right. Things weren't any better with her family in power. Star is basically on the same level as eclipsa. She's probably the second princess to ever she both sides and to ever try to befriend the monsters once she developed as a character and matured. She would've chosen peace and alliance, but it didn't set right with her to take position and the throne isn't her right to keep. Not really. With globgor and eclipsa on the throne now, they can form everlasting peace and alliance. That is, until moon so STUPIDLY decided to start a war behind everyone's backs. She had to have read the context of the spell and she thought that was a good idea or that would prevent Mina from doing far worse!? One important thing to take note of before casting spells: context moon. Context!!!
I think if they were to break up Star and Tom they had PLENTY of opportunities I ship Starco, but now I feel like there's no room for it if that makes sense.
Plot twist: Eclipsa manipulates Rhombulus’ mind to free Globgor and get himself arrested (and despised). This was an attempt at bad humor, if you didn’t notice.
I will be VERY irritated if the breakup buddies broke up only for Starco or some nonsense. The whole Kelly thing seemed really oddly paced. With Eclipsa, I think she wants to care, and does care for her kingdom, but it's complicated. "HAPPINESS!" :O ...remind me not to make you angry, Zamber!
There are some pretty strong parallels between Kellco and Tom getting a dragoncycle. Both seemed like fun ideas, were done spur of the moment, and were done mainly to make the participants feel better about themselves. But as Tom realised, thats not really a good reason to make a commitment like that.
I think it’s appropriate it was just Romulus. While they all distrust monsters, Romulus has been the one to go off on tangents, lose his temper, and act on his own. Like, we still don’t know the full story of what went down for them to crystallize Eclipsa and Globgor the first time. We know they all conspired to replace Meteora with Festivia, but that was at the behest of the King. What was the full set of events, what was the catalyst? Plus, you know, any excuse to keep loving Hecapoo! ;P
Yeah and it was kind of foreshadowed the first 2 times we saw him he attacked Glosserik, Star, and Marco. (Yes I know it was because he was naive not evil but you could just as easily say the same about this). However it might be my imagination but it seemed like Omni was REALLY agreeing with Rombulous before the reveal and REALLY quiet after. Ironically before the whole Meteora thing I used to think he was the most level headed and liked him.
1. Stars mad that Eclipsa stole back the book Stars family stole from her. I thought that was a little hypocritical (but understandable) 2. I didn’t like that Kelly and Marco broke up off screen (but to be fair, I’m not liking what the show is doing ship-wise)
Yeah, some of my own thoughts around these episodes mirror yours. I didn't like how Kelly's and Marco's relationship was written. After all of the interesting interactions between them with hinting at a (hastily) blooming relationship, the show decides to end it all abruptly? Off screen too?? What was the point of introducing this relationship if it was going to end as soon as it began? As far as I can see, it was only to stur up the viewers and fuel the shipping wars. I'm not a hardcore shipper for this show, but I clearly see that this was not fair to those who cared about this relationship. As for Eclipsa, I do feel the show is intentionally prepping us for something terrible to happen involving her. I don't know if it'll HAPPEN to her or BECAUSE of her, but it is becoming clearer on what the show is trying to do. And I am a little concerned about her choices. I do think she cares about her people, but she clearly loves her family more. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that and after everything she went through, she has every right, but I don't think she should rule Mewni, at least not alone. And the MHC...it would have been better if all three were involved. Maybe it'll be expanded on in later episode, like revealing that they were planning on over throwing Eclipsa after all but Rhombulus acted out of turn or something? But seeing how this show is turning out, I doubt it.
I'm sorry for my long rant; I honestly didn't mean for it to get this long. It's just I don't know how to feel about where this show is going. I admit, I'm not as into the show as I once was years ago. I still like it but not as much because of the bad and weird choices made in the story. The same goes with Steven Universe. I don't know if it's because I've grown up a bit and now notice these obvious story problems or if the writing is getting worse or both. I'm still going to watch it though. I'm hoping to learn more about Globgore (who is the best, btw. He's a real catch ;) Best monster dad) and the other stuff mentioned in the book of spells, including the warriors like Mina. I'm still excited to see what happens next but honestly not super optimistic.
@@margaretmcfarland793 No, the writing has simply gotten worse. I've rewatched the show a few times, and with new people, and we've all noticed the quality drop. It's not as fun or engaging, and the "plot twist" are just too twisty. Plus, while I admit, someone the characters are thriving, the main few have become bland and just plain unlikable.
To answer your question why Marco and Kelly broke up (off screen no less) it’s because the people behind the show want to destroy every ship they can before the show is finished. At least that’s what I’m assuming. XP
Eclipsa isn’t evil, that is true. With Star’s help she may be a good queen. Plus she has her family back. Globgor may also help set her straight too. They have a perfectly balanced relationship of course.
I'm with you on the whole Commission thing. I'm guessing the only reason that didn't happen is because of all the Heckapoo fans. I do like Rhombulus, though, and am a smidge sympathetic to him as he lost his moral center, has no guidance from his father, and is looked down on by all his peers. I mean, even his hands don't really like him much. He's still the worst for what he did, but hope there will be more to him and maybe a bit of redemption later.
Hopefully now that Globgor’s free, he can be Eclipsa’s moral compass. Her problem is that she thinks TOO MUCH about herself first, and everyone else last, but Globgor does.
Eclipsa and Globgor's meeting was explained in the spell book. I don't remember if you have it, but if you don't you should buy it. There's a lot of stuff in s4 that I wonder if doesn't make much sense or just seems random for people that haven't read the book.
I just noticed one major character flaw Eclipsa consistently showed. Selfishness. When Star said that the Rose Tower was off limits, Eclipsa told her to not let the rules stop her. When Star asks her about Marco, she asks her if she WANTS Marco to stay. Eclipsa cost Moon half her soul against Meteora which led to Mewni's demise. If not for Star and Globgor himself, the latter would be freed. She stole Star's last piece of the book and Rhombulus' body. Eclispa may not be inherently evil but she does whatever it takes to get what she wants.
How they met was when her mom was at a meeting with monsters she snuck off and met a size changer it’s assumed he is that size changer so they have known each other since 12-13 years old
To be honest I liked that Kelly and Marco broke up. Of course I did not like the way that it was done, but I felt like Marco just did not have the same feelings towards Kelly. For example, every time there was a Kelco moment, it was Kelly who kissed Marco. Marco never kissed Kelly. I have a feeling that Marco did still have feelings for Kelly, but their relationship was one we're both parties still liked someone else. So in short I liked the break up because while Kelly was ready to move the relationship to the next step with Marco, Marco still seemed to be stuck with some feelings for someone else. My guess being he is still trying to ignore some kind of feeling towards Star.
I know how they met: they met as Teenagers , she was the Princess of mewmans, he the Prince of Monsters. They met first when Solaria (mewman Hitler and eclipsas mom) started negociations with the monster king at the time, globgors father. They started seeing each other and sneaking off together. That was before the great mewman monster war, before solarias mass genocide and all that stuff
When I first heard Globgar's voice I thought It be more menacing like his portrait portrayed him to be or at least before he was still king of all monsters, but I never thought I get to hear the same actor who did both Panchito and Don Karnage In both separate Disney Reboots. Maybe be disappointed with the vice, but after seeing him In action and confess It was truly worth It.
I have a theory that in the end,Mewni's going to become a democracy. Meaning the people are going to be able to choose whether they want Eclipsa or Star, maybe Moon if she reconsiderates.
You can really tell that star has really changed over the course of the series, from being this adventurous girl who just wants to have fun, to being a responsible young adult who wants the best for her people
Star talking about knowing what's it like doing crazy things for love can only mean one of two things. Either she's talking about hunting down her mom in the early episodes of Season 4 or the time she went warrior princess on Toffee in season 1 when she found out Marco was kidnapped.
The WHOLE first episode was a metaphor for relationships. Kellco is like Tom's Dragoncycle, a fun idea, but done mainly to make them feel better about themselves, and not a commitment either are ready to make. Tom learning to let his Dragoncylce go, and fly on his own. It's all a metaphor.
So funny thing.. but this episode was actually a metaphor with Star and atoms relationship. We already know he has barely any life out of Star, and more then that -he’s had more fun in that episode and even with Janna. I feel like we’re gonna have the TomStar breakup this weekend, because Tom realises it’s best for both of them.”

I can understand your frustration because like you, it bothers me that this is the last season, we are halfway through, but there are still a lot of loose ends to address and I just don't know how everything is going to work out when there's very little time and episodes left... There's so much going on and stuff to resolve that it just doesn't feel like we have enough time to.
Daron nefcy actually won for animation or something She didnt win for writing because her writing is all over the place i feel like its those early or mid 2000s kid shows with the cliche writing
I mean, really, can we blame Eclipsa for doing everything possible to free Globgore? IT'S HER HUSBAND !! Even if she is now queen it is quite obvious that she was going to worry more about having her family back than to govern the Kingdom well. Do not get me wrong, I know she has screwed it several times and that Star would be a better option to be the queen, but she said it herself in the last episode, she wants to be a teenager again and do teenage things. But now that Globgore is finally free and that the people of Mewni seem to accept it, I believe that Eclipsa will now be dedicated to being a better Queen.
Julio Castillo Biggest problem I see after globgor’s return is possible lingering resentment from people who suffered during her screwups. Moon’s handling some of them, but unless all of them turn up there, there’s probably quite a few Mewmans who were evicted without warning. Oh, and Amina’s our there too
I'm disappointed with how you're calling Eclipsa "Selfish" and "Reckless" and that you believed she was going to free him, that would be soooo out of character...
Even though he was a jerk this episode, I love Romulus. I love the design in the abilities he has. Though his sense of judgment is a bit off. I feel like with some proper understanding he probably could be good again. The last two episodes were definitely something we both needed to understand everything Eclipsa wanted back
I'm a bit upset but not too surprised Kellco ended so aburptly. They are teenagers. 16 to 17 year old teens at that. Teens break up. Teenagers do pointless shit. They're hormonal and don't know how to handle their emotions and complicated relationships. Marco and Kelly weren't even together. It was friends with benefits and even for them, its rare it would go anywhere. They were friends that kissed. And if Marco is over Star and wanted to give Kelly space and just be friends then he had no reason to keep it up. Also Marco wants to go to college and thats in a year, its best not to have a friend with benefits as a long distance relationship. Both are complicated. Thats just what I think.
I suspected all along that the final villains were going to be Mina and some of the magical high commission. The first time we saw Mina she was talking about conquering Earth and the first 2 times we saw Rombulous he attacked Star, Marco, and Glosserik. (Though I hope he changes at the end)
I think he is just too impulsive. Goat dude was kinda cooling him down and Rombulous was always so considerate of him and listening to him. Without him Ronbulous is too chaotic.
@@DeathKitta Yeah but my point is that I originally thought that the twist for the final season is that Star would see that monsters were mistreated and most if not all of the magic high commission would not. It would have been a classic STAR-wars twist to have Star lead the monsters agianst her mother, Mina, and the high commission and call them the forces of evil. But clearly they eventually started making Moon more relatable and less prejudice.
40:35 ... But that's not quite true... Before the Magic High Commission stepped in, Eclipsa was stepping up and trying to evacuate the people to keep them safe! Instead of running off to find him or trying to cover her ass, she did in fact put the people first!
They broke up because the writers wante also only 4 weeks left until the end. Eclipsa is like Star season 1 and Star is like Moon. Hekapoo is one of the fand favorites and the writers know it, so to make the magic high commission the bad guy it was not in their interest.
Kelly and Marco broke up because Star and Marco are gonna end up together. Obviously. Obviously ANY relationship other than that is just supposed to be drama or falseleads is all until it gets to the end. Bloodmoon Curse was to show that that wasn't the reason Star and Marco really care about each other and you can easily come up with ways to make Star and Tom break up. Her being fickle, him being too wimpy or clingy at times, his habits like his "yoga stretch" thingy getting to her too much.
28:39 was worried that like everyone else that did a react to this episode that you were gonna blame eclipsa for freeing him. (completely ignoring the chicken still having the ribbon on its beak)

Yeah cause friends with good chemistry can't just be friends.
but didn’t they break up
@@gamingandrewbro8815 That's what we mean, bud. The Tomco ship is one of those weird ones where we want them to be VERY best friends _or_ to date. :3
I never suspected Globgor I knew there was a reason Eclipsa fell in love with him he's a sweet guy.
I’m assuming Marco ended the breakup buddies thing with Kelly because he was tired of being her second choice. When they started he was still under the influence of the Bloodmoon Curse and was subconsciously in love with Star. When the curse was broken Marco probably wanted to further his relationship with Kelly but she still couldn’t get over Tad. So yeah, I wouldn’t wanna be friends with benefits with someone who clearly wasn’t over their ex either.
But wasn't that the whole point? I feel like they stopped being Break-up Buddies because he was over Star (Which was, sadly, not true).
@@PxndaCakes sadly?
Marco was never off the market, he and Kelly were breakup buddies, they weren't dating.
Globgor is best dad and globclipsa is an amazing ship. Also notice how globgor x eclipsa is super similar to starco and how Marco and globgor are quite similar.
I can't see the similarities between Globgor and Marco, like, at all.
TheAwkwardCheeto same😂
@@cheriimoyya377 both gentle. Not rational. Both balancing out the upbeat and energetic personalities of both eclipsa and star and both being the perfect balance to their respective girls. Eclipsa is like dark version of star and globgor is a darker version of Marco. Both called their lovers my lady ( marco did call star my lady once and globgor did this episode) the parallels are everywhere
@@bellevrkm for you to realise what I'm saying . You have to watch the episode closely than watch previous episodes of the show. You can easily see globgor and Marco being very similar
@@marineduard6901 If anything it seems that Eclipsa balances Globgor out more. She made him go vegetarian, and is wary of his jokes relating to eating Mewmans. Star and Eclipsa are pretty different two, Eclipsa acting mainly for herself, whilst Star is considerate towards others, Heck, Eclipsa herself says it in the episode with the Spider Bites
God you're so right
I agree they are all over the place
They kinda dug their own grave, with how much Starco teasing happened. It would be awfully lackluster if they didn’t end up together, and a big chunk of the fandom would be furious.
I just realized, that bow that was in the ruins. I'm feeling that the reason Globgor was originally crystallized was because Meteora was being taken from him, and that was when he was frozen in that pose, as she was taken away.
Eclipsa and Globgor finally had their day. To bad Mina is going to ruin it.
renji90998
I fucking hate Mina omg
@Stingy Jew Well about that... She's crazy, not stupid... She isn't going to go into combat without backup, that's why she tried the sneaky approach of using Yada Yada berries to poison her enemy first. At this point her plan seems to be "Raise army of magically jacked super solders like myself for backup."(Outfitted in the old armor of her comrades...)
There is also that village of disgruntled mewmans she could easily recruit, which includes Manfread(Which means the rest of her crows are probably also not statues anymore... If she jacks them up the way she Jacked up ol' one eye they alone could be a formidable force...)
Also speaking of the MHC, they are BROKEN...

Also Star has been basically running Mewni the whole season. She's the real Queen.
That's what frustrates me. She gave the throne to Eclipsa but Eclipsa has been a nuisance and doesn't really do anything and has the nerve to pout about not having a coronation.

THAT WAS SO ADORABLE AND BEAUTIFUL!!!
I feel bad for Mina. Her mind was destroyed by the Queen she served (Solaria the Monster Carver) and now she's nothing but a weapon
With Globgor by her side, I think she can be now more focused on ruling
Context!!!
I’m really excited to see how Globgor’s presence changes the show from here on. At this point, it’s basically just Mina vs Literally Everyone else.

EDIT: Literally after I commented this she was all like *OH SHIT* 😂😂 (in the video)
I think if they were to break up Star and Tom they had PLENTY of opportunities I ship Starco, but now I feel like there's no room for it if that makes sense.
I know it would feel kinda awkward now.
Well in the light of the sipnosis of sad teen hotline it seems than it's Tom itself who it's going to breakup with Star
I honestly thought it was whole Magic High Commission that freed Globgor, not just Romulus
I thought it was the crazy bitch Mina
Yeah. Everything they said once Eclipsa announced he had escaped sounded very rehearsed and fake.
But all MHC extremely racist and antagonising against Eclipse so I wouldn't be suprised.
Plot twist: Eclipsa manipulates Rhombulus’ mind to free Globgor and get himself arrested (and despised).
This was an attempt at bad humor, if you didn’t notice.

Is it bad to want a three-way relationship between Tom, Star and Marco?
@@sciencepuptheamericanjoe5812 omg saaaame!!!!!
Tomco is a nono
I will be VERY irritated if the breakup buddies broke up only for Starco or some nonsense. The whole Kelly thing seemed really oddly paced.
With Eclipsa, I think she wants to care, and does care for her kingdom, but it's complicated.
"HAPPINESS!" :O ...remind me not to make you angry, Zamber!
I would've rather had Kellco never be a thing than to have it for only 2 episodes just to casually end it offscreen
Totally agreed. It makes no sense and does a disservice to both characters.
Never liked kellco but it was pretty random
There are some pretty strong parallels between Kellco and Tom getting a dragoncycle. Both seemed like fun ideas, were done spur of the moment, and were done mainly to make the participants feel better about themselves. But as Tom realised, thats not really a good reason to make a commitment like that.
Plus rebound relationships rarely end well, on the grounds that they start due to feelings for a third party.
I will just forget all other ships and support Globgor and Eclipsa. They're too adorable not to ship.
Plus, you know, any excuse to keep loving Hecapoo! ;P
Arella Jardin plus, I think Mina convinced Rhombulus to do this
Yeah and it was kind of foreshadowed the first 2 times we saw him he attacked Glosserik, Star, and Marco.
I love how Tom pulled Marco into the hug 🤗
1. Stars mad that Eclipsa stole back the book Stars family stole from her. I thought that was a little hypocritical (but understandable)
2. I didn’t like that Kelly and Marco broke up off screen (but to be fair, I’m not liking what the show is doing ship-wise)
Not even that they stole it first, but the book owner goes to the wand owner. So-
Star wasn't mad *because* Eclipsa stole the book, she was mad because she intended to use it for malicious purposes behind her back.
DrDalek malicious? No, just selfish (which in my opinion isn’t as bad)
@@XxSmartiesxX_ you're right, bad choice of words. I meant that it is viewed as malicious to Star and everyone else that she's trying to free Globgor
I love River so much. "OVER MY DEAD BODAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY" XD

OMGGGGG! my poor heart was just broken;;;;; i liked their alittle thing they had going;;;
@@IAmZamber Wanna pretend that moment never happened and keep shipping them?😉
The beak of the chicken was still tied therefore it was not eclipsa who let globgor out
I'm with you on the whole Commission thing.
Just like Star who has to have people steer her on the right track. How would she be better than Eclipsa?
The writers NEED to fix Marco's shipping situation.
Eclipsa and Globgor's meeting was explained in the spell book. I don't remember if you have it, but if you don't you should buy it. There's a lot of stuff in s4 that I wonder if doesn't make much sense or just seems random for people that haven't read the book.
That's bad story telling if you have to BUY A BOOK to understand a story....😓
The same thing with star she is just using him and he doesn't even know also she doesn't learn her mistakes like mabel
How they met was when her mom was at a meeting with monsters she snuck off and met a size changer it’s assumed he is that size changer so they have known each other since 12-13 years old
That group hug at the end was so cute! 😘
Star is using tom is that bad because star doesn't learn her mistakes or change but tom does change
One last hurdle: *Mina* Solaria's Super-experimental Soilder and Eclipsia's Mother *(Solaria I mean)*
Strange the answer to freeing Globgor came from Eclipsa'a mom aka SOLARIA THE MONSTER CARVER!

I have a theory that in the end,Mewni's going to become a democracy.
Meaning the people are going to be able to choose whether they want Eclipsa or Star, maybe Moon if she reconsiderates.
I can see that happening.
You can really tell that star has really changed over the course of the series, from being this adventurous girl who just wants to have fun, to being a responsible young adult who wants the best for her people
She is still adventurous, but more responsible and now wasn't the time for adventures.

I’ve always loved Tom. He a good boi. And omg Globgor is my new fav, he is such a good husband and papa omg and I like his voice a lot.
Star talking about knowing what's it like doing crazy things for love can only mean one of two things.
Either she's talking about hunting down her mom in the early episodes of Season 4 or the time she went warrior princess on Toffee in season 1 when she found out Marco was kidnapped.
This is not the first time I cry for this cartoon
The WHOLE first episode was a metaphor for relationships. Kellco is like Tom's Dragoncycle, a fun idea, but done mainly to make them feel better about themselves, and not a commitment either are ready to make. Tom learning to let his Dragoncylce go, and fly on his own. It's all a metaphor.
Why can't they do the same thing with star or marco.
It took me by surprise how much i care about meteora now, i cried when i saw her in distress. Glad her papa is back ❤️
Globgor tried to kidnap eclipsa and they kept contact
That Kelly and Marco breakup was super forced.
Their sort of getting together was forced on the first place,so I don't mind.
Its kinda like in the moment of writing this episode, writers get to know this is the last season so they say "hey! We need to speed up starco" beach day incoming! Cant wait cause i guess it will be savage :O
@@clartblart3266 It was that forced as people made it seem to be because you got to see it slowly happening. During those times Marco was depressed after lava lake, you would always see Kelly there making him feel better which was the lead up to Kelly's world
The Fallen One yeah i literally see nothing gained when they got together so I was expecting, "oh maybe this is just gonna help Marco realize his true feelings", but nope we get get an offscreen break up. Like what was the point of getting them together for a while. I see no development in Marco nor Kelly. Iam sad for the kellco shippers cause they did not get a final farewell to their ship while it was slowly sinking but it was like the ship already sank and they were not informed. You know what Iam sayin? But tbh I wasn't even upset I was just confused
Not as forced as their relationship
Let's be honest the real reason globgor got put in the crystal was because he was stealing all they women in mewni

Julio Castillo
Biggest problem I see after globgor’s return is possible lingering resentment from people who suffered during her screwups. Moon’s handling some of them, but unless all of them turn up there, there’s probably quite a few Mewmans who were evicted without warning.

Even though he was a jerk this episode, I love Romulus. I love the design in the abilities he has. Though his sense of judgment is a bit off. I feel like with some proper understanding he probably could be good again.
The last two episodes were definitely something we both needed to understand everything Eclipsa wanted back

I know that Globgor killed a lot of people, but he is such a cinnamon roll-
I'm a bit upset but not too surprised Kellco ended so aburptly.
I REALLY LOVED THESE EPISODES, I AM LIVING FOR THE LIGHT ON THE TOMCO SHIP THE SHOW HAS GIVEN IT , IM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW!!!
28:39 That sentence from you made me so happy 😂👍 I’m so glad you realized it wasn’t Eclipsa
32:06 there’s so much gay energy in that scene I love it 😂

31:32 Globgor, Eclipsa and Meteora are already in danger
MARCOOOOII
40:35 ... But that's not quite true... Before the Magic High Commission stepped in, Eclipsa was stepping up and trying to evacuate the people to keep them safe! Instead of running off to find him or trying to cover her ass, she did in fact put the people first!
Exactly! She was clearly thinking of her people right then!
That scene where they see eachother for the first time in a lond time and the way they talked really gets my eyes to sweat 😢😭
They broke up because the writers wante also only 4 weeks left until the end.
Eclipsa is like Star season 1 and Star is like Moon.
Hekapoo is one of the fand favorites and the writers know it, so to make the magic high commission the bad guy it was not in their interest.
WAIT IF QUEEN MOON ONLY LOST RANK TO THE MUMANS WHAT ABOUT RIVERS EAGLES HE IS STILL THERE KING RIGHT SO MABY THEY COME BACK AND HELP DEFEAT MINA
Moon cares about mewmens eclipsa about mewmens and monsters but not as much about the kingdom as she shoeld and star is to young
@Blue Goat Man Yes but i am talking about being the Queen now and after it ends
baby Meteora: deeee daaa big Meteora: dip doooownnn
When I saw the chicken still had the ribbon on I didn’t think it was Eclipse
Zambernation! Assemble!
I think star needs to Change she doesn't learn her mistakes like mabel
28:39 was worried that like everyone else that did a react to this episode that you were gonna blame eclipsa for freeing him. (completely ignoring the chicken still having the ribbon on its beak)
Eclipsa and Globgor are childhood friends who would meet in secret and leave around messages for each other. This info was provided by the physical magical book of spells. X3
If Marco keeps it up, we’re gonna have a Scott pilgrim situation on our hands
I’ve been waiting for this!!
Btw is star considered to be a Disney princess? Like belle Arielle etc?
Sadly, no. She's just a princess from Disney
@@mofthemoth5755 more like a generic princess
