THank you Master Yip. Your movements are not only beautiful but truly expressive of the genuine internal energies so essential effective QI Gong. I am truly impressed. I will try to immitate your actions so as to learn these energies hoping to improve my practice of Yang Fmaily Taijiquan. Thank you again for your beatiful display of such a wonderful health promoting art.
Totally real! I used to meditate without now nothing about chi-gong and was very useful. Now I feel so much better using this technique. I recommend to follow along and you will be fine, and with more energy.
Thank you so much for this practice. Not only does it allow me to continue to benefit from and advance in this form whilst away from my teacher but also reminds me to really soften and slow down my movement. It really is beautiful and enhances the feeling of the flow of qi and mindfulness within the practice.
schitterende vertoning van deze bewegingskunst, ben een amateur beoefenaar en doe dagelijks de oefeningen om mijn lijf een beetje soepel te houden. kijk steeds met bewondering naar de schitterende vloeiende beweging. dank je Faye.
Glad to find some material to practice with, but wish I could download it to have with me anytime. Beautiful and authentic to the course I just completed with Professors from Chinese Health Qigong from China.

I'm really happy to find this - beautifully done, thanks. We have just come back to study this in our Qi Gong class in Milton Keynes - it's going to be hard work but I love it!
Wonderful video but for instructional purposes there needs to be explicit instructions. I would recommend adding a voice over to describe the movements as the master is performing or simply add the description as text. Please see 'Qigong Full 20-minute Daily Routine' on youtube, showing the Eight Pieces of Silk Brocade practice. This is a wonderful example of simple, effective instruction.

#Cathy Lui +vlahell chi kung takes the best of both worlds. by incorporating the use of one's body while staying present in the mind is quite different from quiet meditation (where one would sit down motionless for example). they are related of course, but through movement one could easier approach the matters of mind. it'll never be as deep as some meditation can accomplish though, but it isn't it's purpose to begin with. @Agnes B

Elane Horhi and did you find à teacher. Just like this without explanation your mind is not involved. I think it is necessary to have a teacher at firsts.
If where you live, you don't have a school teaching this, the next best thing you can do is "imitate" Faye's demonstration in the video. Learn just two movements a day. If that is too much for you, then learn just one movement a day. Watch how Faye does it, "imitate her", paying attention to her legs'/arms'/hands'/fingers' movements and positions,, and keep doing the movement over and over. Repetition will train your muscles memory. You would be able to learn the entire set in two weeks. After that, it's practice makes perfect.

This is beautiful form but do not learn Qigong or Tai Chi from TH-cam videos. You need to join a class with a reputable Sifu so you can learn properly and be corrected by the Sifu while you practice. The group learns from each other and there is the social aspect too. Be with people then practice alone at home when you know what you're doing.
