People will probably be surprised I was in a Merc haha, tbh as a car to drive it wasn't that bad, but with 773hp I only had vintage race tires on, lost out a lot in the corners
@@SadMarinersFan Problem is, it's not a racing game. It's a 'driving' game, like Test Drive Unlimited back in the day. The so called racing is an afterthought for getting money to buy new cars to drive.

@@juanca2807 I mean, there's a good reason why any respectable motorsport doesn't actually do any "sprint" races... they give way to absolutely zero actual racing to begin with, in large part due to the definition of the word "sprint" - full speed over a short distance. And, only goes to prove how good of a game TDU was, whereas every Forza Horizon since the second one.... not so much.
The 01 RS4 has one of the strongest stock engines in the game; the only one that properly trumps it is the LS3 from the HSV Gen-F GTS. Combined with its good track width, strong chassis and decent weight distribution, and stock AWD, it makes for one of the best purist cars in the game. Add in aero, and potentially the LS3 swap (yes, the same as the engine I just mentioned) although I couldn't tell if it was V8 swapped, and you get a very strong off-meta car capable of doing low 1:03 on Horizon Mexico Circuit. For reference, the fastest balanced AWD cars can do low 1:02, and most cars do high 1:03 to low 1:04
Hello! I want to ask 3 questions: 1. How can you tell when to brake? I mean I played a lot of racing games recently but I still need use breaking line features in almost all of them. Too many cars, too many tracks... I can't figure it out how you can tell the breaking points in so many different scenarios. 2. Are you plannig to do a "Survive the Hunt" video on Forza Horizon 5? 3. Can we join these races? I used to watch your Forza Horizon 4 videos and wanted to join but I didn't have a machine to do so. Now, I have a Xbox Series S and I really want to join if there is an opening in the future. Thanks you!
I can guarantee you rain makes a difference, especially for high-power cars, and my own anecdotal evidence says rain sucks with slick tires and combining both is a nightmare. My Vulcan is _horrible_ to drive in the rain.
My high power A-class cars agree, My 1000HP Dart normally grips up around the 120MPH mark in the dry, I'm still spinning at 150MPH in the wet if I'm not careful.
I tried this with my m8s. We did 3 races then randomized our horsepower again and did 3 more. Holy shit I never got below freaking 800 horsepower so I lost them all. Was really fun tho, will definetly do this again.

Realism, better feel for what the car is doing, and frankly better braking if you're good. Same reason why not everyone has 10-speed gearbox AWD swaps in every single car. Gimmicks like that don't automatically make the drivers better.

A shock almost the gto is a big boat surely but nope, it sustainable, i can acknowledge the fact that the daytona with a massive power defecite is amazingly competitive. Im agrovated and grumpy all this time thinking what the hell is a daytona doing with that big nose
You should do lucky dip modification count, I don’t know what to call it but you draw numbers for people and what number they get is how many modifications they get to add to their car
By the by, way overrevving the LFA engine. You don't want to be anywhere near the limiter when you shift with it. Lost you a solid chunk of time per straight.
I haven't used the LFA engine yet personally, but I noticed the same thing with a 2J Lexus earlier today. Rev limiter is at 8500-9000 or something, but I was shifting at 7.5-8kish to use the power band effectively.
SO watching this video I have learnt that AK is either a Hamilton level driver, a DJS level tuner or a mix of both, thought it was a little funny they weren't in the final race to give everyone else a chance haha

in my experience, full slicks are horrid performers in the rain in FH5 - much like real life. they've got no way to channel standing water out from under the tyre and so, they just plane.
That would be the end of the channel. Broadcasting game play in a modded Rockstar lobby is basically asking to get your account banned. Might only be possible if everybody went through the effort of installing 5M or some other non-Rockstar GTAV offering, but STH is such a faff as it is so I doubt anybody would be willing to go through that effort.
Besides the reasons mentioned by @User 5.8598, this would require them to play it on PC, which they don't, because Alex' PC-GTA is littered with mods and thus unusable for their multiplayer stuff. That aside, I'm not really sure if the chaos mod would actually add any fun to their game. In my opinion, this would make it unplayable. Reason being that I doubt you can synchronize the chaos mod for all players in a lobby.
Being drawn a very high horsepower number was pretty much a death sentence ;-;

Yes please please do a tyre investigation. Slicks vs semi slick vs rally in rain would be nice. Also sport and street tyres on dirt?

I think shorter gears would’ve helped the gto a lot. The ratios are always to long on forza for anything other than long sprints
