A while back, we headed up to Merseyrail to see the last surviving PEPs which were on their way out of service, in particular, we were hoping to see the Blue one, 001 in service, or just to see it full stop.
We could tell when we went up, that we had gone very close to the end, with the 507s being very hard to find, however, since we had come up here previously when there were no 777s at all, these were of interest to us too, particularly the battery variants for me.
This video is subtitled so I shan't spoil anymore
    hope you enjoy the video!

The blue and grey unit has been preserved, and is in operation at Eastleigh Works. She will be the only surviving unit left, so visit Eastleigh Works if you want to see her in action.

That is 313 201, a similar looking unit, also blue, I have seen that one running and seen it in Eastleigh Works.
However 507 001 is indeed to be preserved, at the Tanat Valley Railway
