I always preferred the high socks look for Chipper. Thanks for all of these Braves games (I suppose they're easier to come by since EVERYONE had the SuperStation in the '90s) 😃
Poor Wohlers, he looked so good here. Even after the 96 home run (This was the popular myth that it's the reason he became wild), he had excellent command of his fastball. Sadly, he will lose control in the coming months :(
I remember being so upset learning David Justice got traded but when I found out we were getting Kenny Lofton in return, I was cool…it was no where near as egregious as when they traded Prime for R Kelly I mean ROBERTO KELLY 😅
@ KingJaymo2k11 - Grissom was also part of that trade to Cleveland as well. I was okay with the trade (we also got back lefthander Alan Embree from the Indians), altho I hated losing both Grissom and Justice.
I've probably said this before but thanks for all the Braves games

RIP Skip, Pete and Don 💔

The heart of the lineup too (Bonds, Kent and Snow)
that was next year
Ugh, the worst pitch in Braves history.
It was a few years after this they swapped off and put Skip with Joe and Pete with Don
Milwaukee’s last season in the AL and Houston was in the NL

I think Prime was traded because of stuff behind the scenes, and Kenny Lofton was sorta the same thing.
21:25 some shifting in 1997!!
Famously, shifting was a thing back in 1946.

That’s interesting. I knew it was a thing back in the 90’s but just didn’t see it all that much.
