the world owes these men so much. if it weren't for them, the whole concept of video games may have never even existed, and my entire childhood would have been empty and boring. seriously, if i was steve russel, i would be the most arrogant fuck in the world, knowing that i had created the most awesome and influential form of entertainment to come from the 20th century.
+autumnfall1997 tennis for two was the first interactive game for two ..many people think that spacewar was the first but the thing is that spacewar was the first interactive game for two ever built on a Computer
Neither game is a "Video Game" since neither of them produces a video signal. Tennis for two displayed on an Oscilloscope and Steve Russell's Space War was run on a PDP minicomputer and was a computer game. Too many people fall too easily into using the common term "Video Game" to describe every type of game with some form of display or screen. In fact, the term "Video Game" didn't enter the public vernacular until 1973.
From spacewar to GTA V, Assassins creed 4 and Watchdogs. It's pretty cool comapring them.
thanx for video gamez dude
thats good graphics for first games ever

EDIT: And you wouldn't have Nitendo without Atari and you wouldn't have Atari without Magnavox and you wouldn't have that without this.

well, yeah, thats all true up to magnavox, but magnavox would have been around with or without tennis for two.
