Midsole Trimming
Take your time; this is a slow calm process
Strop and / or sharpen knife after each side of each last
Hold the knife is as close to the end as possible
Slicing verses pulling; the motion of the knife is about 5 to 1 slicing verses pulling
The direction of the cut is always against the last; the last is the back-up for the leather during the slicing operation
