Wow, what a gorgeous trail! Those bridges, rivers, forests are glorious! I’m proud of you for pedaling across. Dry sorry about your loss of equipment. But you’ve got a good Plan B. Keep on keeping on!
Just saw this video and good job. I have ridden the Ohio to Erie Trail and yes, there is very little places to camp. I will say that you missed some of the best parts of the Ohio to Erie Trail. You would have ridden through Amish communities and some awesome scenery. I can't emphasize how great that section is that you missed. If you can, please ride from Columbus to Massillon and then to Cleveland. It is fantastic!
Hi Mark! Somehow the baggage left behind somewhere on your trail is 😢; so sad and sorry for the plight! But… my gosh, you look happy and well rested and living life fully! I think you’ve earned the respect and awe of all of us as you continue this amazing ride.. so glad your sense of humor is so apparent this far in your trip. These videos get better and better! And I’m so thankful there was no camping site in Xenia… 🙌
I love the GAP Trail & yes, you pronounced Ohiopyle correctly. Enjoy the rest of the GAP. Hopefully not to much rain, otherwise the C&O will be muddy & could be a bit slippery. Take care.
The GAP is a great trail and Ohiopyle is an excellent place to take a break. It is definitely worth the time to go to Falling Water as it is a house that is actually art. BTW - I think you stayed in the same B&B that I stayed in Confluence when I rode the GAP. It's a very nice place. I'm enjoying following your adventure. Ride on!
Bummer losing pannier. You should be able to restock in Cumberland but maybe not everything you lost. I lost my rack top bag. A year later have yet to replace all my treasures.

I would very much like to do that stretch, and it is certainly on my "to be ridden list." Thanks.
