he didn't mention this, but the number after the filter is the number of poles the filter has. A pole just means 6dB and octave. So 4 pole would equal 24dB and a 2 poles equals 12dB. :)
Great tutorials! I finally find someone who has a spectrum analyzer to show what's happening! I own Massive and learned a lot on these tutorials. Thanks!
Thanks for all of the great free content dude! That's fucking sick that you give all this stuff out. 1 Question: Do you have some other effects on your audio? I have my settings dialed exactly like yours at 3:38, and my synth sounds way lamer than yours :(
Actually, as Im following along, most of my synths sound similar to yours, but way less full and "fat". Maybe I just don't have my settings dialed in exactly like yours. Are you starting from "New Sound" in Massive, with no other audio effects anywhere in the chain?
I'm using oscillator 1 through filter 1 and have the sliders at the right setting, but when I turn the cut off knob and the others knobs I don't get the same effects. perhaps it has something to do with my routing settings.
you did a good job on almost all but a few you just ran it by so quickly with barely any explanation cause you didn't now much about them. but good tutorial all together

POWERFUL Sadowick. Been looking for really in depth but quick Massive tutorials and you nailed it. Thanks!
Scream filter is a filter with feedback - the most valuable info from this video.
Cheers!
