Does the timing chain fall off of the crank sprocket when removing the chain from the cam gears? If so how do you know that's lined up when retiming the engine on assembly?
hey mate doing this on a seized engine, i cant take the tension off the timing chain and i cant even budge the camshafts? can i just unbolt the tensioner in place and try fish everything out?

No. Typically that would happen but on these engines there is a cover/housing that prevents that from happening

I believe the marks on the timing chain will line up every second rotation of the crankshaft
