It pays to be prepared. My area of Australia is experiencing massive flooding atm. My home is unaffected, but I am isolated by water, and have been for the past week. Luckily I have a very good stock in the pantry. Nothing I am lacking.
Hello from northern Saskatchewan. I save carrot tops and peels and onion scraps in my freezer then when we have turkey or chicken I add them to the bones and boil to make a beautiful gelatin rich broth and pressure can it. I usually get 14 quarts or more. Then I cook my white rice in broth instead of water, I can add a bit of salt, pinch of turmeric and dry parsley. That's how I make yellow rice. It adds so much protein to a cheap prepper ingredient, and I think the collagen helps my joints feel better. If you don't have a pressure canner, you could buy broth but it's practically free this way. I use a presto pressure canner from peavey mart bought here in Canada. God bless!
Yes that’s a great way to make stock. Delicious without waste. We want the Presto electric canner but cannot find it here in Canada. We don’t yet have a pressure canner because of space and mostly time. Delicious food they make though.
I think you would be surprised at how long this amount of food would last you if you had to live off it. You have a great stock and certainly more than the majority of people. Keep up the great work!
Nice pantry set up. We had our pantry in our 'utility room' which is on the lower floor of our split level home so we do not have a proper basement. One day I went downstairs to get something or other and noticed that there was cornmeal on top of the toilet, below the cabinet on the wall. Well, a mouse had gotten into the cornmeal from the ceiling (we do not have a ceiling in this room, just the floor above and insulation. From that point on we realized that mice could get in from the garage from the ceiling (our cat had always kept tabs on this and let us know when there was a mouse in a wall or ... but he's passed away and we never got another furry friend), so we got a service to come in and find all the holes that varmints could get in through. I started putting all of my soft covered items like beans, cereal, pastas in mylar containers and then into plastic bins to stop the mice from getting our hard earned food. Those little stinkers. Also, I found weevils in an old box of opened pancake mix in the cabinets in our kitchen upstairs. So, we had a rude awakening with that. Cleaned all of our cabinets and checked all open boxes. Now, everything is vac sealed if it has not been opened and everything else is in clear plastic containers so that if we ever get weevils again, they won't be able to spread from one box to another. I'd say your beans would be better saved in other containers so that you don't lose them. Thanks for sharing.
Be careful, you should not let anyone know about your stock pile. There are some that would rather take yours than to stock up their own. Frankly if they show up at my house their only going to find Ramen! 😂 my prayers are with you all out there. Blessings 🙏

I've got to stock up on beans, broth and cream soups before the prices go up. I went to Kroger this week and almost fainted. A whole Miller's Amish chicken was $11 last week, this week they are $18. I've noticed each week the prices on groceries are rising. Thanks for sharing you and the Mrs pantry 🙏🏿
Really nicely organized and neat pantry. The only suggestion I would make to anyone is, buy Base, either chicken, beef or veg. The brand I use is called Better Than Bullion. It makes a nice broth at a fraction of the cost of buying boxed broth to use. Plus, also with that I amazed myself how at how easily it was to get about 50 lbs of egg noodles, rather cheaply over several months shopping trips. So, I hope you continue to do well, and good luck to us all.

Just alittle idea for you as you said you are not keen on the Mario's Vienne Mini Sausages - I would suggest copping them up and then add them to some Maple Beans that you can get in a can, or Tomato ones etc, or add them to a stew or soup. Might make them a little more tolerable. Have a wonderful week, to you and your wife and the furry family members with four legs! lol
New sub here from over the pond, the majority of us over here have small homes so we have to make use of every inch of space we have, food prices are rising every time we visit our supermarkets, and the shelves are not looking very full, pasta sauces jumped from £1.25 up to £1.95! they no doubt will have a “ reduced priced” ticket on them soon probably around £1.65 as if they’re doing us a favour, or worse still, they will stay at the high price, fortunately I have around 50 of them stashed in my garage as they are a firm favourite with my family.
I have a recipe for pasta that does not require a jar of sauce but instead uses a bit of tomato paste. Cook your pasta in a pan and while that is cooking, start another larger flat pan with olive oil, diced onion or pepper if you life, and cook those on low heat until the onion is translucent. You want to time the sauce being ready for when the pasta is done so if the pasta is still cooking, take your pan off the burner so as not to burn the onions or peppers. Once the pasta is done, drain it saving a scoop of two of pasta water. Put your larger pan back on the burner and add one or two finely minced garlic cloves to the oil, onion and or pepper mixture. Fry that up lightly, not burning the garlic. Now, add a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste and let that cook up for a minute. Next, add your pasta water and mix it all up with the pan's ingredients. Add some sliced tiny tomatoes if you have some and then your pasta. Mix it all up for a delicious meal. Hope this helps with not having to use so much pasta sauce. I'm Italian and I love that but this works well, too, and is a nice departure from the usual pasta dish I grew up with.
Please do not stop making videos I'm in Canada too I prep as well I love watching your videos I am currently starting over from the beginning and watching all your videos over I love that you're from Canada and I enjoy every single minute of all your videos thank you!!!!!
You did such a good job reorganizing. I am always moving stuff around because my prepper pantry is always changing depending on what is on sale and such. Great job!!
Great video. You have a nice stock there. I have a stock about this same size and use every thing in it on a regular basis. As I use things, I replace items in the back. That way it is a living pantry and will always be there and be fresh. All the best to you!
Hey Kevin! Great job...love the updated tour! I just filmed an updated tour as well...going to be posted this coming Sunday. It is amazing what you can do to make more space!!
You’ve done a great job with your prepper pantry shelf! I’m so glad to see that you’ve been stocking up on water. Water is one of the hardest things to find space for but so so important. I know what you mean about the subscribers coming and going are usually ask them to check and make sure they are still subscribed as well. You have a great channel. Keep on keeping on!
Thank you Linda. Yes water has been hard to get here all summer. Glad we can get it now. Yes the subscriber’s definitely come and go, what we are seeing is worth asking about. Nice to know it’s not unique. Thank you for watching. 🙂
Hi Linda from Chicago. I find that I not only have to resubscribe to a lot of channels, my like has been deleted. I revisit some videos to pick up on points of suggestions and find these changes. Blessings
Great videos given the news today I just want to tell you that sometimes I use coconut oil and corn starch for deodorant works in a pinch . Might put some essential oils in it too kind of messy but it works .it’s good to know what can work for several different purposes. Hope you are enjoying your visit with your daughter stay blessed and safe till next time
Take those type lids and boil in water with a teaspoon or so of baking soda and it helps 'freshen' the rubber. I only water bath can with jars that had product in them. Save canning jars for the pressure canner.
Kevin, great video. I really enjoy seeing what others have and it always reminds me of something I forgot or need more of. Your comments and especially your friendly, easy attitude means a lot in the way your present your information. It got me to pay more attention. And I am a new subscriber. Thank you. Be safe.
Good stock up I also stock honey as it is shelf stable forever also you can use to barter if ever required. I just told my husband we need to get more water as down to one case. I hope that we will be able to give a lot to the food bank hopefully there will be no SHTF issues but good feeling to know we have food if needed. My mother was a war bride from England so she taught us children always to have a supply of food, as there were times during the war when they had food shortages.
Yes Honey is great. Lasts forever. We have more tours coming as we have a baking shelf stocked and 2 freezers but they don’t fit in the pantry. 🙂. Thanks fir watching.
Vienna sausage makes a great salad, kinda like a ham salad or bologna salad for a sandwich... My grandma used to make it for me all the time as a kid I loved it and still do as an adult.. it's a great snack with sliced cheese and crackers on a Saturday afternoon for a light lunch
Hey Kevin, love the pantry tour! Y’all have a great stock up going there.😊 You May already know and do this but because we are particularly proficient in bugs down here, I put all dry goods in my freezer for 48 hours and then lay out for a day or two, flipping the box/bag over 4-5 times each day to let the moisture from the freezer dissipate. And only then do I put them away on my pantry shelf. Never seen a toe of a bug in several years of all of this. And again, y’all may not have any issues up there like we have. I’m a bit of a bug germaphob keeping any critters out of the house.😂 Love and prayers to you two, always.❤️❤️
Even with the freezing of the flour- tiny critters still happen. That’s why I will sift or sieve any stockpiled flours. No matter how correctly stored. It just puts my mind at ease
@@marthaross6301 really? Is that to flour or all the dry stuff? For my shorter-long term and my long-long term in addition to the freezing, I then went on to store in the Mylar and 5 gallons with the oxygen absorbers and have broken in to take a peek at a bucket or two of random things for my 3+ years items. I really don’t store any flours for long term, berries instead so I figure, worst case, it will be added protein I suppose…😆And thank you Ms. Martha, for the added tip.😊
Paper plates, disposable utensils, disposable cups, paper products help save your water stores. Remember canned vegis & fruit provide water as well. Put regular sugar in a strong blender or food processor to create powdered sugar. Store what you like to eat, tuna can double as pet food, cheapest protein I've found.
You may want to get some non-iodized salt preferably sea salt or kosher. Iodized has additives and if stored too long it not only can turn to rock but the flavor can go off over time. Also, recommend that you try to get tuna packed in oil instead of water for not only better flavor but better lifespan. If you are able to find tomato powder locally or online it is a wonderful product that you can easily make any tomato based product and it has shelf life of many years. High acid foods easily pick up flavor of cans in relatively short time compared to other canned foods.
I am a fan of asparagus (fresh) and I must say the canned asparagus is an entirely different experience, but here in New Zealand we have asparagus rolls which are crustless squares of white bread with cream cheese and a canned asparagus spear rolled up - they are delicious for picnics/afternoon tea
What an incredible system!!! Thanks for sharing!! It makes me want a storage shelf in my small studio I’ve been hesitant and unsure of how to store everything but you use your space so well
You’re welcome! Thanks for sharing. You are the most practical prepper I have seen online. I’ve never seen a container for already open items that you need to access - that’s a really smart idea you had. I’ve also never seen a prepper know their foods as much as you do, you clearly eat and try all of these items which makes me wonder how often other people actually use eat and try the food they show. Prepping has gained popularity but your video well less of a prepp and more of a this is what we eat and we have additional of it for the future. Very smart😊 I loved seeing things ljke cereal and Rice Krispies and Nutella. This is a pantry I would eat out of! Lol
We definitely eat all the foods we buy. It’s a working prepper pantry for sure. There’s one item of rice that’s new but we love rice so it won’t be an issue. 🙂
New subscriber here. Love your organization! I'm blessed to have a huge basement one room (so far) being food storage but the organization needs lots of help. From a fellow driver, Great Job 👍
Nice pantry tour. I envy your shelving unit. Our mobile home is small and no space for one of those, but we have used every cupboard and closet that we possibly can.
I'm from NZ that is one awsum fully loaded pantry. I have a secret squirrel cupboard and my pantry is full. I have a high top shelf that is empty so I'll be filling that area up soon only problem is, is that I gotta get a step ladder to get up there. I love watching these preeper vids has lots of ideas and tips.
I’m from Wellington and doing the same thing in a Wellington CBD apartment. I put the rice and extra pasta up on the top shelf as I think these will be hard to come by as we do not grow rice or Durham wheat here. What area are you from? I ended up converting a coat closet into my food pantry as we have such a tiny kitchen.
I need the stepladder for almost all my shelves. It got less awkward than when I started. Also, if you have storage ottomans or a sturdy chest of drawers you can store supplies at sea level 🙂
I have dehydrated some mushrooms and made mushroom powder it’s great you could put it in the plain prego tomato sauces I call it “ doctor it up yourself” the huge cost is the tomatoes. Check out “the purposeful pantry” Darcy she shows how to dehydrate lots of foods saves space in your freezer . She does some live videos apwith questions and answers . Dehydrating is a great space saver
We purchased some off brand Vienna sausage that wasn’t very good so we fried them in a little bacon grease until brown like sausage. I fried eggs & fried potatoes with onions & it was a great meal!
I have the giant stack of tuna, too. I think I have as many garbanzo beans. for some reason, I can digest them better and prefer them with rice. I love rice so much that I would use it to eat the so-so stuff like asparagus and vienna sausages.
Hei 🙂always fun when you post a new video. 🙂The small sausages you don't think are good, if you take pizza dough and pizza sauce, make small pieces and cook them in the oven. I think you call it "pigs in a blanket". A way to make the sausages taste a little better. Hope you understood what I meant, not always easy and to explain in another language 🙂 happy saturday to ya 🙂 🙂
That is a good idea! Understand it perfectly. I was thinking maybe we could put them in sauce too but the dough idea would mask it better. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Wow, your pantry looks great! You two have done a great job following the sales too. I finally got a shelving unit up in my pantry. I am also proud to say I got two more gamma lids put onto my buckets. It was a battle but I won in the end. Have a great week.
I recommended trying everything at least once . You don’t want to be stuck with stuff you don’t like. Better to have things you enjoy eating. Also long grain white rice will store for 25 years if stored properly
For those that do have products they don't like or hate to eat, you might be able to barter those items away for something your neighbors have that they don't really like when/if the time comes..
@@thehomemakerhusband I bought a small Coleman stove, small bottles of propane, water filters, water jugs and visqueen to put over my areas of windows or doors that leak air.
I'm new. You popped up on my feed. What's weird is I don't recognize even the great value labels. Our labels are different.. Good job so organized. I wish my husband was on board. I have to hide our preps. He doesn't get it.. I saw you are a trucker. So is my brother in Michigan. He drives for a canning factory. He gets to keep lots of mislabeled things or labels fell off or whatever. Works good for him. Great job..
Welcome. Yes I think the labels are different just for country distinction. Because we live in what is a bilingual province we have both french and english on our labels. Sorry your husband is not on board as yet. That must make it much more difficult for you. He will come around eventually. Thank you very much for watching.
I am not sure if anyone has mentioned it but the Mario's Weiner's... Wrap them in dough add some cheese and a dash of steak spice, helps the medicine go down.then replenish, or repeat to keep em as fresh as possible.
Great pantry, thanks for the tour. But if you do get bugs, they can get into any of the dry food that isn't in jars or something to protect them. I have had that problem in the past, so now repackage in something bugs can't get into. Also, one mouse can wreak havoc.
Thanks Jay. We are pretty good here in our apartment. We have been here 5 years and no problems thanks goodness. We know things could change though. Good to know for sure though. Thank you for watching. 🙂.
Yes the habitant soup had good flavor . I usually buy the powdered broth in cubes takes less space and easier for me to carry . Maybe you’d like to try it .oxo is a good brand .since you’re paying for the deposit for the bottles maybe a brita or zero water jug might work for you as well .idk I just find the water too heavy to carry and the filters work well for me . Watch for the Black Friday sales coming up at Walmart you can order on line delivered to the store is free .Kevin can pick it up with the regular order
I live in a small Apt too I turned my second bedroom into small pantry with buckets of rice beans sugar etc… canned bought goodies and I have been canning lots and lots of meat way cheaper then buying in the can and healthier
You are absolutely right the same thing is happening to me also with my subscribers so I just subscribed to your channel I hope it show up God bless you
Spaghetti sauce in all flavors have become one of my favorites to stock. They are cheap,.Flavored and use many ways. Chili, soups, rice casserole, and ofcourse pasta.
Worried about gallon water bottles leaking? Buy a few Jerry Cans ($16) in the camping dept at Walmart. The hold about 6 gallons and very sturdy. They can me stacked and less likely to leak.
Ask the mormons they’re pretty good in putting away food that last for a long time…a little tip for rice ,put rice in a gallon glass jar and put bay leaves inside 4 or 5 . And put it in the oven with sealed lid for 30 minutes… it will last for 25 years
Thank you as many people complain about not having space to store things. Most people who live in an apartment with about 600 square feet complain about not having room to store extra supplies. I live in a rural 4 room farmhouse with 320 square feet yet I found space to store supplies. I use over the door shoe organizers and filled the pockets. I keep a minimalist wardrobe and used the empty space to store supplies. I have 2 dressers that came with my bedroom furniture and I filled them with supplies as I do not need 22 dresser drawers for my socks and underwear. The rest of my clothes hang up in my closet. I have food buckets behind the sofa. I have food in my linen closet. extra bedding and towels are stored in my laundry space. I have filled bins under the bed. Y'all can find space to store extra food and supplies for emergencies if y'all really wanted to do it. As for cost, y'all can buy a few dollars in extra food every time y'all go to the grocery store. Y'all could adjust the budget by eating out less or not buying things y'all do not need.

I got a giggle out of your little “talk” about the “older” jar covers(lids)! My grandparents were married at the start of the depression and sheNEVER THREW ANY FOOD AWAY!!! She cooked every single meal “recycling” all leftovers. It didn’t matter how many times but everything just got recycled into the next meal. Everything. Every meal.
Glad to have you along. Yes it’s getting ridiculous. They do that here too. Jack up the price and then take it down a smidge. Thank you for watching.🙂
If you can find a way to raise your bed a few inches , that might give you a bit of extra storage.
What a beautiful stockpile you have,, it was very enjoyable to watch, you've done a fantastic job of organizing your preps.♥
Thank you!! 🙂
Please do not stop making videos I'm in Canada too I prep as well I love watching your videos I am currently starting over from the beginning and watching all your videos over I love that you're from Canada and I enjoy every single minute of all your videos thank you!!!!!
Thank you Dawnese. 🍁. Happy to hear you enjoy them. Thanks for watching.🙂
You did such a good job reorganizing. I am always moving stuff around because my prepper pantry is always changing depending on what is on sale and such. Great job!!
My husband and I live in an apartment too. We are prepping too. We are living cheap in this little place and it's home sweet home for us.
Great video. You have a nice stock there. I have a stock about this same size and use every thing in it on a regular basis. As I use things, I replace items in the back. That way it is a living pantry and will always be there and be fresh. All the best to you!
Looking forward to the next one !
Hi. Thanks yes we used it and it helped great. Thanks for watching.🙂
Kevin, great video. I really enjoy seeing what others have and it always reminds me of something I forgot or need more of. Your comments and especially your friendly, easy attitude means a lot in the way your present your information. It got me to pay more attention. And I am a new subscriber. Thank you. Be safe.
Welcome and thank you for your kind comments ! 🙂
Vigo cilantro lime rice is good and I put in a can of small white beans very filling
Thanks. One can always use good tips. Thanks for watching too!🙂
Even with the freezing of the flour- tiny critters still happen.
I’m in south central Texas. Our food products are in English and Spanish. So funny to see yours in English and French. Never seen that before.,
That’s interesting and makes sense. 🙂. Didn’t know that.
Very nice pantry, well stocked. I'm about 3/4 there. Started 6 month's ago. Shop weekly. Ty for sharing, God bless y'all
Thank you.🙂
You may want to get some non-iodized salt preferably sea salt or kosher.
Thank you Kevin for sharing!! Have a great weekend! May God bless you!
Thank you. You too! Thanks for watching. 🙂
Great job! You inspired me to do some reorganization!
Thank you.🙂
I am a fan of asparagus (fresh) and I must say the canned asparagus is an entirely different experience, but here in New Zealand we have asparagus rolls which are crustless squares of white bread with cream cheese and a canned asparagus spear rolled up - they are delicious for picnics/afternoon tea
Oh I’ve seen what you’re talking about but never had. We love fresh. Not sure how the canned will taste.🙂
What an incredible system!!! Thanks for sharing!! It makes me want a storage shelf in my small studio I’ve been hesitant and unsure of how to store everything but you use your space so well
Thank you. Keep an eye out for our next video. It addresses that situation. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Welcome and thanks for watching.🙂
Nice pantry tour. I envy your shelving unit. Our mobile home is small and no space for one of those, but we have used every cupboard and closet that we possibly can.
Thanks. It’s so tricky finding space in small places. I wish we had more shelves. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Yes do what you can for sure. Thank you for watching.🙂
I’m from Wellington and doing the same thing in a Wellington CBD apartment.
I put the rice and extra pasta up on the top shelf as
I think these will be hard to come by as
we do not grow rice or Durham wheat here.
I’m still subscribed and I’d notice if I wasn’t. Your pantry is looking good!
Agree!
Glad you are. Thanks for checking. 🙂
Love it I'm getting so much ideas
Good! Thank you for watching.
Always good to prepare for hard times ahead.May the Lord Bless and keep you.🌞
Thank you.🙂
I have dehydrated some mushrooms and made mushroom powder it’s great you could put it in the plain prego tomato sauces I call it “ doctor it up yourself” the huge cost is the tomatoes. Check out “the purposeful pantry” Darcy she shows how to dehydrate lots of foods saves space in your freezer . She does some live videos apwith questions and answers . Dehydrating is a great space saver
I am not a huge fan of Vienna sausages, but I have some to fry up and add to stews or chilli
You’re right !,walmart luncheon meat is awesome 👍
Right?! Thanks for watching 🙂
You've got a nice stockpile going there. Keep it up.
Thank you! 🙂. Thanks for watching.
We purchased some off brand Vienna sausage that wasn’t very good so we fried them in a little bacon grease until brown like sausage. I fried eggs & fried potatoes with onions & it was a great meal!
Great tip! Thanks. 🙂
I have the giant stack of tuna, too. I think I have as many garbanzo beans. for some reason, I can digest them better and prefer them with rice. I love rice so much that I would use it to eat the so-so stuff like asparagus and vienna sausages.
On the Vienna sausages, make them into, pigs in a blanket with canned squirt cheese and dough.
People stock up different when salty foods are not a option, but that's a great pantry, great job
@@thehomemakerhusband Yes, wrap them in crescent dough. Yum.
Wow, your pantry looks great! You two have done a great job following the sales too. I finally got a shelving unit up in my pantry. I am also proud to say I got two more gamma lids put onto my buckets. It was a battle but I won in the end. Have a great week.
That’s great Mona. Glad you conquered those buckets! Thanks for watching.🙂
I recommended trying everything at least once . You don’t want to be stuck with stuff you don’t like. Better to have things you enjoy eating. Also long grain white rice will store for 25 years if stored properly
Everything in our pantry we eat. It’s a working pantry. Thanks for watching.🙂
For those that do have products they don't like or hate to eat, you might be able to barter those items away for something your neighbors have that they don't really like when/if the time comes..
Cans can last up to 25 yrs as long as the can is not dents , expiration dates is for the store shelves only … we know because we’re preppers
Nice organization! A bit every week adds up.
Thanks! 🙂
Yum beef and barley! I use old milk crates to separate my vegetables, fruit, and meaty cans.
Nice idea. 🙂
Great pantry, it wasn't too long at all
I ♥️♥️Your stockpile and i been stocking up since 2019.And your right you don't have to be Expensive.
Thank you.🙂
I am not sure if anyone has mentioned it but the Mario's Weiner's... Wrap them in dough add some cheese and a dash of steak spice, helps the medicine go down.then replenish, or repeat to keep em as fresh as possible.
Yes someone has. It’s a great idea so thank you for mentioning it. Thanks for watching.🙂
Great job!
Nice pantry!
Thank you.🙂
I live in a small Apt too I turned my second bedroom into small pantry with buckets of rice beans sugar etc… canned bought goodies and I have been canning lots and lots of meat way cheaper then buying in the can and healthier
That’s great. It’s good you have the room to do that. Thanks for watching.🙂
Exactly. 🙂
I just found you channel tonight and subscribed
Welcome Carrie. 🙂
I'm still subscribed. I also hit that thumbs up.
Great to hear and thank you! 🙂 Thanks for watching.
Nice organization!! I have TONS of food, but no shelves!! I have some cases stacked but a lot is in boxes. Hard to see and remember what ya have!
Yes it sure can be difficult. Glad you’re stocked though. Thanks for watching.🙂
I'm still subscribed. Love the pantry.
Good to hear. Thanks for checking and watching. 🙂
If you can get free food grade buckets from local stores you can save shelf space by putting salt and sugar in buckets
Worried about gallon water bottles leaking? Buy a few Jerry Cans ($16) in the camping dept at Walmart. The hold about 6 gallons and very sturdy.
They can me stacked and less likely to leak.
Good idea.🙂
Ask the mormons they’re pretty good in putting away food that last for a long time…a little tip for rice ,put rice in a gallon glass jar and put bay leaves inside 4 or 5 . And put it in the oven with sealed lid for 30 minutes… it will last for 25 years
I’m new just subbed love your channel today first day meeting you you gave me lots of get ideas for my apt living space this was so good Thank you!❤
Welcome. Thanks. Glad to hear it.🙂
Organized pantry.. 👍🇺🇸😎
Thank you.🙂
GOOD FOR YOU.....KEEP PREPPING... DON'T STOP
Thanks. 🙂
I’m in the uk and wanting to start a stock so thanks for the tips and ideas.
Asparagus is good go ahead and try it. I do like the fresh better.
You have a lot of stuff that I've never seen before I'm down here in Washington State.
Yes. We find the same when we watch grocery hauls from the US. 🙂
The canned asparagus makes a lovely soup with leeks and potatoes
You are very right. 🙂
If the lids seal they seal old or not. Have a blessed day 🙏
You as well. Thanks for watching. 🙂
For the Idahoan flavored potatos, they are good if you mix half flavored and half plain instant potatos.. if not te flavor is too strong.
Thanks for the tip.🙂
Stumbled on your channel… really enjoyed… nice set up. Will check out the rest of your videos. Looks like you’re in Canada ftom the good🙂
Blessings from new subbie in Tampa Florida 🌴
Thanks Lorena. 🙂
Everything. Every meal. We’re still alive because we have “cast iron guts” as my dad would say!!! There may be some truth to that🤔😉
So relatable. Incredible how things have changed. 🙂
Canned asparagus, broth, potato flakes and spices makes a very nice soup.
I bet it does! Thank you for watching.🙂
I love Bush beans they're the best! Nice set up thanks for sharing. $22 Kirkland brand yikes. I better pick up more from Sam's club much cheaper and tastes good to me.
The jar covers are ok if they seal!
Just Subscribed. Can't wait to learn more. Thank you.
Welcome Natalie. Thanks for watching.🙂
Thanks from Ga.
Praying for your family
Sorry for your loss 😢🙏
Thank you.🙂
A dehydrator , approx £20 to 30 means you save space and cut out the O2. Veg, beans etc . England❤
Awesome video my first time watching and I’m subscribed
Welcome and thank you.🙂
So here's a Tip for gaining abit more space in a small apartment.
What I have done is take all dry goods out of there package and vacuum seal it flour sugar beans noodles oatmeal ECT.
Asparagus roasted in oven with seasonings is pretty good. Many recipes online
Thanks. We love asparagus. Our fav is pan fried in butter and seasonings. Never had canned before though. Thanks for watching. 🙂
you are far from starvation Sir. so nice thank you for sharing
Thank you.🙂
You video just popped up on my feed, as soon as i started to watch seen the Crosby Molasses figured you were from Atlantic Canada. I'm from Cape Breton was interesting to watch alot of my favorite brands that we don't get in Montana.
Hi Brenda. Yes we are in NB. You must miss some of the food. Thanks for watching.🙂
@@thehomemakerhusband I miss everything but am so lucky get to go home twice a year at least.
