    I been watching different cobblers with all tools needed, but I realized that if you try you can do more with less tools is just practice and love for what you do!

      Exactly my thoughts. The best cobblers and craftsman from all other trades to learn as a DIY are from 3rd World nations. I recently saw some mechanics in Pakistan rebuild an Engine wearing sandals and using rudimentary tools and I was truly inspired and that weekend I fixed the rear brake shoes of my 4 runner 3rd gen.

    *@diamonddetails9445 What 3 steps exactly? The heels are close enough. The man has less tools than what other cobblers have. However, he still achieves a very high quality outcome otherwise! So he worked extremely hard with the tools he does have. That's extremely impressive I think 😊!!*

    John Wick would have felt right at home with blades like those.

    It's the best video of shoes' resoling process that I ever seen. I'm not a cobbler but I started to make some amatorial little works on my shoes. I watched many video but it give me something of precious.

    Absolutely amazing results with minimum tools! I wish I could get my blade that sharp! Is that a modified putty knife? There seems to be some flexibility to it.
    I like the channeled saddle stitches. Your craftsmanship is exponentially better than that of many cobblers with outsole stitchers and finishing machines!
    Thanks for this video! Where are you located?

    @1:01 When removing the sole, you can see the bottom of the shoe underneath the sole is also cracked and needs repair but was never repaired. Also, there are still several creases in the leather. It's not worth the effort and time for the repair, just better to get new shoes.

    Great job ! And you used Saphir Medaille d'Or Creme 1925 in neutral to condition and polish.

    • @t.srepairs3379
      @t.srepairs3379  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gland you like it thanks. Just a correction I used saphir renovateur just to hydrate leather again and give a little shinny look.
      The shoe already been recolored after Resole was done.but I didn’t get a chance to shoot that part. It could have look much better with mirror shine but costumer don’t prefer mirror shine😊

    • @stevenroche9874
      @stevenroche9874 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@t.srepairs3379 Thank you for the clarification. You could apply the Saphir Medaille d'Or Creme 1925 over the Renovateur. It would add a soft sheen, not the higher gloss of a paste polish.

    Hi, how much would it cost to get the outsoles and insoles replaced for a pair of woman suede boots? I.e. Insoles replaced with leather, outsoles replaced with more cushioning and supportive materials. Thanks!

    Umm am I the only person trippin’ that homie is barefoot? I mean I don’t care if you’re making candles or shoes or meatloaf.. when you’re in a work environment you need shoes on!!!! Besides being obviously dangerous it’s also just gross!!

    • @t.srepairs3379
      @t.srepairs3379  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Although I understand what your saying but I guess you don’t know much about shoe making and resoling process. As you can see his over 50years old man and his resoling shoes only by himself not using any fancy machines. And you see his also using his foot to cut leather. His been doing this job over 25years. This is not a restaurant you need to feel gross this is a shoe making factory. And he knows what his doing. Thanks for watching though.

      Is it not expectation of ppl from culture to another?
      In likelihood, he was brought up, barefoot. Subject here is not how she dresses (his feet) but his craftsmanship in shoe industry.
      Unhurried, quality skilled hand work.
