Ah the power of the Internet & TH-cam when coupled with a mind understanding the importance of detail! My Dad was a mechanical engineer and he would have loved this video! Great job, thanks!
It's the first of your videos I watched and I really enjoyed it. I must say you're making a herculean effort there which absolutely stunned me! keep it real!
Good to know that I’m not the only one to think that!! Great vids man, I really enjoy them, but most importantly I learn a lot, from not knowing anything about bike to doing it myself!!
your videos have been so helpful to me with my bike. Just wondering, is there maybe a fork seal change in the future? that would be awesome to see and there aren't really any good videos for it. keep doing what you're doing. It really helps a lot of us.
I love the effort you have gone to for these videos. They are extremely helpful for riders like me. I second a request for a fork seal video. Mine has been waiting over a year for me to grow some balls and do it. One of you videos would help my confidence immensely.
Hey I know this would be a huge undertaking but do you think u could do a video on some engine work, like carbs or valves? I don't need to do that yet but I really would like to know my way around my bike in its entirety. Plus I will need to do it eventually. Thanks for all these videos too they are great!
Ninja 250 Motorcycle Maintenance Actually im curious about that too, my ninja has like 19000 miles and im pretty sure shes thirsty for valve adjustion, also my exaust pipes at the very beggining are different colours im not sure is that normal but left one is way too birned compared to the right one which is just like the rest of the exaust.
I will upload a valve adjustment video in the next three or four weeks (hopefully), but if you have a year previous to 2008-2012, the engine is a different design. Many things will be useful, but there will be differences, especially regarding the engine.
Thanks so much for your extremely thorough video. I feel a lot more confident performing this on my bike now as it sorely needs it. I do have a question though: would performing the flush with only distilled water be about as effective as using a vinegar/distilled water mix? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the positive feedback! I don't really know how the results would compare. The most important thing is to make sure that you don't keep the pure water (or vinegar solution) in the system for too long. I kept it in the system for a couple of days (only for the purpose of making this video) and it rusted the system pretty badly.
Do you want new ones or used? I would check Partzilla for new ones, or try a dealer (I don't know if they ship outside the US though). If you want used ones, try Ebay, then Amazon.
Unscrew drain bolt, drain. Close drain bolt. Open the rad cap and pour. Wait a second until it drops and pour more to the top. I just saved you two hours!
I use O'Reilly's premixed universal coolant because it is a fourth of the price of motorcycle coolant. Many motorcyclists use regular car coolant. It should be fine, as long as it is okay for aluminum engines and contains no silicates or phosphates which damage the water pump.
Hi there, i got one non video related question but since you are active on here i would appreciate your answer. Anyway while riding my ninja 250 2009 and short light is on when i switch to long light short one dowsnt turn off so both are running and when i switch back to short long ones are off keeping only short light turned. im not sure whats going on as previous owner was def customizing it way too much...
I was using a crappy voice recorder on my phone and for some reason it kept picking up popping noises, so I tried to redo a lot of it, which gave it an incoherent feel. The voiceover was my least favorite part of these videos, which you can probably tell listening to it. I have a different audio setup now and have improved quite a bit.
No idea if you are active anymore, but let it be known that your videos are a service. Thank you.
Thanks.
Love how detailed this is and your other videos this should get more views
Thank you for these videos. At 2021, your videos are priceless.
Ty for the very detailed video ..watched innknn2o22

What size is the drain plug for the coolant ? Is that a 10mm ?
10mm water pump. 8mm engine.

Valve adjustment video on its way, hopefully within the next three or four weeks it will be done.
Thanks for the kind words.

where can i purchase the fairings?

@@ninja250motorcyclemaintena7 i'm in SA and its quite hard finding the fairings

Can you just drain the coolant reserve tank with the over flow drain and not take off the whole reserve tank and flush it that way?
😂😂 i too thought that way, i too wonder
how to change spark plug pls ..
Professor, If I were rich I’d buy you a BMW S1000RR, just to get your instruction on that. Alas, I’m not rich.
BMW's are too rich for my blood.

What will happen if I didn’t remove the upper bolt .
The upper drain bolt? It just means that some of the old coolant will remain in the motorcycle.
I don't have blue ice can I use antifreeze
What is blue ice?
Not blue ice what I meant to say was engine ice

I believe the short one (low beam) is always on and the long one (high beam) only turns on when you flip the switch.
Glad to hear that :D I def love having good lights, and low + high beam together makes it perfect :D
2h video about coolant flush it's too fucking loooong!😁
please make a tutorial on how to fix rpm Ninja 250 2012 dead 🙏🙏 #please answer yes
hey man! Do you live in austin?
