I had an MT09 in California. I loved it with all my heart. Now I have a 2016 MT03. It came with very low mileage like 5000 kilometers. I live in Thailand now and the MT-03 is nearly perfect for this area. I just whipped around the mountains of Northern Thailand for 6 days and covered about 1200 kilometers. It road like a dream. Do I wish I had a more powerful motorcycle? Yes. Do I think about it when I ride the MT03? Nah…
Put 14k miles on mine in the 11 months ive owned it. Great bike. 62 mpg/ 220 miles per tank, $28mth insurance, easy to work on. Biggest gripe is it lacks confident passing power on back roads and the couple times on the highway its high revs at 70-75mph.

I'm mt03 owner since 2019. if you compare it to cfmoto 450sr and aprillia 457 the mt is nothing. Fun fact: Even if you do drop this bike, the fairings stick out so far that you don’t crush your leg even without crash protection. Not that I slid into a guard rail or anything on my 2024 MT-03…
still the same as the 2020 version besides new colors. engine is the same as in the old model so even older and you feel that. out of those three i would buy the mt-03 again and again.

Little things for me like the dash on the cb compared to the mt kind of get me. though you guys hated that cb500r so much I don't think ya'll will want to but man, the cb500f just looks so damn good!
I think the cb500f is a good looking bike. Good build quality. That being said it's too heavy for that motor to feel much different than the MT. But I like them both. MT is cheaper and reliable for about the same thrills.
Aprilia RS660 thats the best bang for your buck as far as what it comes with, you wont really ever have to upgrade has it has enough power to not be boring. its an amazing bike.
You'd have to be nuts to buy one of these instead of a Duke 390. The Duke has more torque, better suspension, better brakes. The tiny 321cc inline twin in the MT-04 will be so gutless at low/medium RPM which is where you will be riding 90% of the time. The Duke 390 is a punchy little bike that has tonnes of torque, excellent suspension and brakes etc. It is a legit excellent bike, not just for beginners but for anyone. I have a 2020 Duke 390 and I LOVE it. I have my full licence and I still ride the Duke 390 even though I could get a bigger bike. I think I will eventually get a Duke 790 but I'm in no rush.
I live with a philosophy : Grow out of your first bike’s , You will live longer , my first street bike was 50cc in 1972 my first race bike was 50 cc then 125,250,500, and they the end of the 70s I was racing a 750 two-stroke on the Isle of Man that had less power and speed than my current 600cc bike ,,, (66 years old ) still riding hard
@@JoeStanek-vu7rlThey did. I do own one aswell. My is a 2008. Any bigger + taller rider have experience with this bike? Looking to get it as my first bike next month and worried itll look too small for me (im 185cm 100KG).
Im short rider but i think 780mm/30.7 in seat height little bit too short for u. Ktm duke 390 good option for higher rider if u like naked bike.
I weight like 280 pounds , 275 on a good day 😂 will this have enough power to get me up to highway speeds ? Or should I just go with the ninja 400 for that little extra oomf ?
Fun fact: Even if you do drop this bike, the fairings stick out so far that you don’t crush your leg even without crash protection. Not that I slid into a guard rail or anything on my 2024 MT-03…
Is there any major update for this bike for 2023? I'm deciding if I'm gonna get a mt03, z400, or duke390
still the same as the 2020 version besides new colors. engine is the same as in the old model so even older and you feel that. out of those three i would buy the mt-03 again and again.
know how much ya'll don't like the cb500's but would love to hear what ya'll think of the cb500f; bought one new because I've never had any "new" vehicle and I just love the damn thing haha even if it's not the "absolute best" thing on the market blahblahblah.
What’s a good beginner sport bike for a tall rider? (I’m about 6 feet tall)
Aprilia RS660 thats the best bang for your buck as far as what it comes with, you wont really ever have to upgrade has it has enough power to not be boring. its an amazing bike.
RC390
This bike is very, very fun to ride, it’s my first bike too
Remember this is an entertaining channel not professional reviews
Yamaha just closed that deal with CF Moto
I would’ve loved one of those as my first bike. Instead, I had a bloated, mushy 250.
I need a new starter bike but I don't want to bother entering. Just give me this one directly or you're not invited to my birthday party.
Confusing. Another tester said that this was a suitable bike for BIG riders.
First love the videos and all the stuff you do
That blue...
First time seeing a roundabout in murica
Lots of em in my city..Wisconsin
No way its like a grom. Come on man!
ngl it should stay the same power wise, let yamaha keep there lower cc beginner bikes, not everyone wants to start off with 400-700 ccs
How about for a 47 yr old 6'1 250 lb new rider with no experience? 🤔🤷♂️
Second love the videos and all the stuff you do
good voice, keep it do in it
Hi bro iam from India I like your video🎉🎉
Why only 1080p quality ?
Got a very sweet deal on a 2009 MT03 for 500 bucks, love it! Will soon be going for a V-Strom 650 but this MT is already great!
They didn't make any MT's in 2009.
@@JoeStanek-vu7rl The first gen MT03 ran from 2006-2014 if I remember correctly.
@@JoeStanek-vu7rlThey did. I do own one aswell. My is a 2008. But this MT-03 was a completely different bike than the new one. 2006-2014 had a 660cc Single cylinder with 48 hp and 56NM / 42Ft.lbs of torque instead of this little twin. So they are not realy compareable. But imo that was a much better bike than the 2016 and following...
