One interesting thing I observe is that the drivers always honk when they see a bus from the same company in the opposite direction. I am impressed with Pragathi's progress. Not so long ago they had only 2 buses. Now its fair to say, they are the number one (bangalore mangalore kundapura route) in terms of customer preference. Durgamba seemed to have lost out to pragathi, although they are still a formidable player. Btw I came across his channel recently. Some high quality content. Keep up the good work. Best wishes.

Goutham.. true... Problem with Durgamaba bus is that they have reduced Blore -Mlore -Udupi -Kundapur routes . Also most of their bus route is from Bangalore South region (I.e Jayanagar, south end, BTM), less buses from East (I.e Marthalli, Whitefield, HAL, Tin factory, KR puram). while pragati buses have been successful in covering these areas (PTC has R. No 3,5,7,10,11,12,18 all operating from East, R. no 1,3,10 covering Hebbal, yelahanka areas, R. no 2,6 covering Blore South areas) whereas Durgamaba has shifted it's focus to other routes like Mlore -Udupi- Shimoga- Bellary Mlore -Udupi - Kpr - Hubli -Dharwad Kundapur - Mlore - Mysuru - Mandya

Most operators of Mangalore use Damodar Built buses . Damodar is the first to build sleeper berths with back seat rest for Sridurgamba 13m 36 berth in April 2013.
Nice journey by non AC bus in night in spite of heavy traffic of buses and lorries to state capital and seaport of mangalore The road may widened to meet rhe heavy traffic and safety
Pragathi have overtaken Durgamba in all aspects. Over the past 15 years I have been a loyal Durgamba customer with atleast 10 trips per year along the Bangalore Udupi route. Durgamba used to have very well maintained buses with good customer service, but in the past 6+ months I have travelled thrice to Udupi and back and their buses are old and bumpy, twice my bags got wet in the luggage compartment below, looks like its rusted and has a hole. Very sad to see them go down, maybe the Covid period affected them the most compared to the others. Their daily frequency of buses also have reduced
the other blogger was really funny...he is telling exactly opposite of what the driver says... 😂😂 loved the video....I always feel PTC is a big red bus... 😊and the roads are relaid every now and then...but due to high vehicular movement n esp with heavy vehicles this keeps getting spoilt n condition worsen during rainy season
you are telling abt 16:47 moment... that moment when another Pragati bus (R.No 3) passes from opposite side.. Fun fact Both R. No 12 and 3 start from same starting point when starting from Bangalore (I.e Whitefield) So both drivers/conductors know each other very well.... 😂😂
Boss again good video and I suggested this some time back ...can you combine your to and fro trips and release as one video as you did Mysore Ooty and Ooty to Mysore like that now many are doing that where they are combining videos and releasing as one and the originals also remains the same ...just a complimentary video for the folks who are interested to see full back to back trip ...just give a thought on it ..keep traveling and exploring .all the best

bro plz cover journey in haryana roadways ordinary buses u will feel.like traveling in plane..but bus should me ordinary and bs3 ..mostly bs4 ordinary buses are locked at 90 and there merc and volvo are locked at 80
2.03 - MASTER bus previously belonged to Pragathi bus. Recently the owner of Pragati bus sold 3 buses and 3 routes ( kundapura -bengaluru, kokkarne - bengaluru, manipal - bengaluru) and the new owner only changed the name to Master.. Fun 😜 fact - He kept the same colour, same logo, same bus number, same name like Master tourist corporation
Good one bhai would suggest to do Bangalore to Karwar route with sugama tourist which goes via Sirsi, Gokarna, Ankola it will be interesting hope you will enjoy it..
As other blogger suggested Gokarna it's excellent road to explore from Shimoga to Gokarna and good weekend destination with good beaches try before March excellent sunset views

I have a doubt all ksrtc buses are locked to max 80kmph speed but does this apply to private Operators also? Have u checked max speed during your so far journeys? I travel only by ksrtc so i don't know about private buses, Correct me if im wrong

Please do Bangalore to Dandeli since there are 4 - 5 private buses running now. You have travelled the other way I remember in Sugama after Karwar to Dandeli trip.

Private buses depends on operator. They may or may not have speed lock. Ksrtc Airavat buses all may not be locked
If u travel bangalore to mumbai....then try National travel or jai bajrang travel ....
