I must have traveled so many times on this route during my childhood days. Miss those long bus journeys along this picturesque route. Thank you for making me experience those lovely moments once more.
Nice to see that you have captured bus taking inside route in Saligrama to take blessings and Prasada in Anjaneya Temple(Hanuman Temple). It brought back all my memories of childhood. We have a shop near the temple and now very less bus enter that route to take blessings. 90% of the Mangalore to Mumbai bus used to take that route and stop for few mins for Prasad and leave around 15-20 years back before that road got its concrete. Now I can say 5% of those bus take that road. As a kid it was joy for me to watch those colorful big buses during that time.
I even used to keep track of number of buses which entered this inside route and which took highway as we can see both roads from my shop. Lot of memories. :) Just that one clip brought back all my memories. Thanks for it. :) I will mark this video for my reference:)

One thing is best I noticed that is dinner time yellapur hotel seats will be full if we go in private busses but in govt bus single bus that's good no urgent.
KSRTC booking should start partnering with someone like MMT and redbus. I had checked recently in December only non ac like sheetal were showing. Only if i knew this bus had restarted.
I think that was Hanuman temple in saligrama if i am right...if that is the case it has intresting story...if you see the opposite side u have Narasimha temple...n ppl say because Narasimha is the agressive form of lord Vishnu his wrath n heat was so much so that all the crops were being burnt on t opposite side so thy built Hanuman temple as he is the only one who had the power to absorb the heat...so the ritual is to relieve Hanumanji of the heat thy give him Taila(oil) abhisheka n so devotees can buy a can of oil and offer it to god...you have place to give abhisheka urself outside n it would flow to the diety...also i found this in Wikipedia It is a practice for tourists travelling long distances to stop in front of the Anjaneya Swami temple and offer kanike to the deity and only then pass on in order to ensure that they reach their destination safely. Rangapuja is carried out in this shrine throughout the year in the evening times.

Our family travels regularly and a lot of Kms as well. and one of my Fav journeys is MNG-BNG in Volvo, day journey on a rainy day, it is just beautiful :) Thank you so much for this. A small suggestion , get a gorilla pod to attach your phone to record long drive videos, while you can sit back and relax . Cheers:)
If you can drive at night no problem but sometimes night is risky as few accidents take place at night comparitively more from morning so by my suggestion morning 4:00 clock will be better from Mumbai to Manglore
Yes it's a good bus. But definitely not good for such long journey of 20 hours. It's good for less than 6 hours journey like Bengaluru - Mysuru, Bengaluru - Hassan, Bengaluru - Davanagere, Bengaluru - Shivmoga For any journey beyond 6 hours, I would prefer Sleeper (Ac/Non ac)

tsrtc 11r rips if myp or bhel depot only, I observed if mgbs or hcu depot it sticks to 80. if bhel depot of myp it'll go over 90. But bhel depot maintainance is worst.

I assume it was on the same day we travelled. The conductor just dropped them from nearby itself as they wanted to reach tht point.
