Итак, ещё один ветеран подобных реакций после долгого перерыва вернулся к Диане Анкудиновой - а значит, и к нам. Это радует - поскольку комментаторов подобного уровня очень немного. Вспоминаю, что его мучили некоторые сомнения по отношению к тому, что он услышал от Дианы Анкудиновой в самый первый раз - это была "Derniere Danse". "Реченька" вызвала у него в полный восторг; последней была песня Элвиса Пресли - но он почему-то вспомнил "Wicked Game". Несомненно, он хорошо расслышал, насколько сложнее, изощрённее, тоньше стала вокальная работа Дианы Анкудиновой по сравнению с той знаменитой, всех удивившей композицией. Больше тембральных красок и оттенков, более искусная, более аккуратная работа с интонациями и с динамикой. Она не живёт на старых своих достижениях - которых любому другому артисту хватило бы на всю жизнь; она постоянно совершенствуется, делает новые, снова удивляющие нас открытия. Добившись чего-то нового, найдя какие-то новые звуки в своём и без того сложном и многомерном голосе - она не боится их использовать в новых песнях, - колеблясь в своём творчестве от изысканной простоты ("Город влюблённых людей") до изысканной сложности ("Sweat Dreams"). Новая песня "День, когда ты" - образец той самой изысканной сложности, - которую она умеет и любит демонстрировать. Сложности глубокой, неоднозначной, всегда содержательной, неизменно гармоничной. Михаил, знакомство автора с Дианой состоялось при просмотре "Wicked Game" - th-cam.com/video/l6LsLeQ5f6Q/w-d-xo.html - за пару месяцев до "Derniere Danse". Вот где были сомнения: автотюн, обработка... Уши слышат, мозг отказывается принимать за чистую монету. Но постепенно, в том числе благодаря отрывкам живых концертных выступлений он пришёл к выводу, что этот нереальный голос вполне реален.

* Brandon Stone (stage name), *1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, lyricist and arranger. Brandon is also a professional jazz pianist and a top-notch producer.
His musical life began at the age of 3 with piano lessons. In 1997 he began studying jazz pianism at the music academy 'Hans Eisler' in Berlin/ Germany (he lived there with his parents). After twenty years in Germany and a few years in the USA, he now lives in Russia with his wife and two children.
Brandon Stone prefers an interesting mix of styles both as a composer and as a singer (jazz/soul/pop). His melodic songs as well as high technique, emotional intensity and honesty of performance, his wonderful voice (3.5 octaves) and charm helped Brandon Stone to become popular in many European countries, America and Commonwealth of Independent States. He sings in Russian, English, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew and Georgian.

Hit it so high and still has her timbre of fullness. Shes been on tour and it seems like its honing her voice and no signs of fatigue. I wonder if she has a parade of writers hopeful to have that voice bring their lyrics to life.

Diana was recently a contestant in the Russian version of The Masked Singer. She sang 2 songs you might find of interest. 1. The first one is California Dreaming. The second one in Sweet Dreams. A song from the 1960's and the other from the 1980's. I think you would enjoy both of them.

Diana recently finished performing on the Russian version of the Masked Singer Show at the age of 19. On the first five performances, she disguised her voice so the performances didn’t attract much attention and I didn’t know the show existed. But then with the sixth performance, California Dreaming, she was told by the producers to drop the voice disguise and the next morning I knew about it on the other side of the world.

I was surprised that you remember her performance on the show "You're Super" with the song "Wicked Games", which was 4 years ago, and forgot your reaction to her performance on the later show "Show Mask Go On" with an equally strong cover of "Can't help falling in love" about a year ago. Although I agree that a year without Diana is a long time.
Earlier this year, she participated in the show "Masked Singers" where she had some great performances. Therefore, I would like to hear your reaction to the best of her performances from this competition. A few words about the conditions of this competition. All the singers perform in masks. Each round, the judges remove 1 participant of the show, whom they recognized or who, in their opinion, performed the weakest. This is not a convenient format for Diana, because finding out her natural voice with its timbral features is not a problem, so for 5 rounds Diana imitated various singers and did it so skillfully that no one ever had suspicions about Diana's presence at this competition. In the sixth round, she stopped hiding and started singing with her natural voice and of course was immediately recognized. But her performances were so good that the judges of the 6,7,8 rounds did not remove her from the show and only on the 9th there were asked to remove the mask.

I will explain it for you, he did this intro thing i really hate where they put the best "clip" from the whole video in the beginning for a sneak peak to what is coming, and he deleted by mistake the build up when he was trying to cut that specific "clip" out in editing.

I adore Diana and her ethereal voice. I have only one year of university Russian but the beauty of listening to her sing is that there is time to hear each word-not always possible in conversation.
She is singing with the author of this song (written for Diana), Brandon Stone.
It is her voice it is not Brandon, she layered herself.

@@victorm5220Both of those voices you hear are Diana, it’s just that one is lower than the other. I assume she recorded them separately and then they were layered together; it’s essentially the same as if she were duetting herself. If Brandon had done any vocals in the song it would be very clear and he would also be credited for that portion, but his contribution was the lyrics and music itself
