Igor was a prestigious judge on the show…he ensured that she received an apartment in Moscow so it facilitated her attendance to GITIS University. I believe she graduates this year. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.

Всё это так, но был один случай в начале карьеры Дианы, когда она в "Гнезде Глухаря", исполняя дуэтом, - "Ах ты степь широкая.... " все-таки "забила" партнёра.... Но это был недостаток сопровождения, и выступали они практически без репетиций..... 😊.
@@valaivanov6843да, это было начало карьеры и Диана была ещё очень молода. В дуэте ей приходится сдерживать свой голос и подстраиваться под партнёра, а это двойная работа.
Тогда у партнёра микрофон был не отрегулирован.Вот вся причина почему его не было слышно.

Brandon Stone is a pseudonym/ stage name. Born Bessarian Shpetishvili, in 1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia where he likely also learnt Russian. He is a musical prodigy, multi- instrumentalist, jazz musician, and singer-songwriter, and composer having created some 800 songs. He has lived and worked in Germany and in the USA - but has since then chosen for artistic reasons to live with his wife and family in Russia where he has a production and recording studio. He leads his own band and does concerts in his own right. He has been a mentor and encourager of Diana, for whom he has written a number of songs, some of which are geared to challenge and extend her, as this one does. Diana earlier also recorded this song as a solo, and it can be found on TH-cam.

One of my favorites by her is from the "Show Mask Go On" entitled "Oh' It's Not Yet Evening" th-cam.com/video/cfTiQkJrLi0/w-d-xo.html. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song.
I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.
