Hmm I’m a midwife and I know how clients feel after EOU( evacuation of the uterus , which is a procedure done to completely remove every product of conception from the womb during a spontaneous abortion or an induced abortion or a termination of pregnancy just as Yvonne Nelson had. Apart from the emotional stress they go through during and after the procedure, there can be so many complications like an ascending infections in your womb and subsequently through your abdominal cavity which can be very deadly and life threatening. During the procedure, the patients womb can get perforated by the cannula used to perform the procedure which can result in profuse bleeding and subsequently had to now rush to theatre to do an emergency surgery to suture or even sometimes ends up with a complete removal of the womb so save life. Worst case, death can result . These EOU Is normally done in Labour wards of most hospitals or minor theatre and so many complications can arise afterwards. So just leaving a woman you have conceived with to her faith before , during and after this procedure is really a mean and painful thing to do and she can never forgive you .
