Senya if j is the mute button. How do u control slider 2 as i can see if u press multiple times it increases the volume of effect. Should one press and hold the effect button

I am not sure if i understand your question, but the effect button you only press it when activating/deactivating the effect. I control slider 2 via the keys M and N, check my video titled "setting the echo effect to do it like coffe and shimza" for clarity.

If by "MASTER" you mean activating the effect at the same time on both decks then enter this command, choose any key to assign it to:
deck master effect_active
note: now the echo fade is controlled by the volumes (slidding them up and down will give you the effect)

if you are using a mixer you should not be having a problem, but with vdj only you will need to buy a USB soundcard or USB headphones.
