The butterflies are adorable. I love that you're still working with resin, crazy how the plastic keeps it shiny, but the silicone doesn't right? Those vellum cards are gorgeous! I haven't attempted yet but Marion E is fantastic, so clever with her ideas. I need more practice with my ink blending, my stuff looks like a 6 year old did it.. I like how you used multiple colors with the doily, I hadn't thought of that. I was just going to do black & white because it's too hard for my brain lol! While I was watching you though, I thought it might be cute to run a page of them through my printer with an all over chintz pattern or something like that. To be on the safe side maybe I'll try stamps on them first since I have a bunch of them. They could be embossed in my little pancake maker too (another Marion idea). Do not feel like you have to send me anything Kerry! I know you've had a lot on your plate and I wanted to send a "pick me upper" box :) Take care and have a great week!
Jean they are adorable,I have thought they can be used like being or dots. Still having fun with the resin, crazy right plastic who knew lol. My embossing folders are getting used again. Mariom is a genius, she is never ending with talent. I still struggle with blending,I have learned start with less ink and build more if you want it darker also smooth paper makes a difference. I decided I was getting a mini pancake maker well the town I work doesn't have them which is crazy oh well guess it isn't time for me to get one lol.Black an white is so elegant, great idea with the stamps I will have to try that too. I am inspired by the happy mail and I love making things and giving things so not feeling like I have to but feeling like I am enjoying doing it. I will be doing more training for the 3rd night grr then back to work tomorrow night. I will try to hang in there next week will be the same grr. This job is cramping my creativity lol have a great weekend❤️
I was wondering if the little butterflies would work as shaker bits. From the video I really can't tell how big or small they are. They are very cute though. :) You could look at making your own resin molds. Lrisy has lovely glitter, mica, mica with glitter.. I think there was mica with glitter. lol I can't remember diddly, but I really do like Lrisy's glitter. I have been doing some crafting. I have to go back in there today to finish my son-in-laws birthday card so that it can be mailed next week. His birthday is on the 21st and that will be all of April's birthdays. I then need to make my mom's birthday card which is May 5, Mother's Day cards, my son's gf's birthday card, my brother in laws birthday card, and my nephew's birthday card next month. Then begins June....the summer is a killer then to add another July birthday....dang, there are 4 in June, but in July there are 7...my oldest nephews is the 4th of Aug so I always lump it into July. I hope you have a great day and thanks for sharing your creations. :)
Hello Abby, they tiny the mold is ment for nail pieces so yes they could go in Shakers. I have considered making my own molds and that could be fun to do. I have more playing to do to add all tiny pieces to add to the resin. Not enough hours in the day to do all the fun things on my list. You are going to be very busy making all those cards and I bet they are all going to be so nice!❤️
I was wondering exactly how big did those molds come out? My daughter does acrylic nails and she's thinking that she might be able to make her own little small molds to put on the nails... called "nail charms" thinking it might be cheaper for her to make them than buying them but IDK...and not only that but she can make anything that her clients ask for...like small little bows,or doggy prints,or hearts,ECT....
