Should have put the white on the mold an not on top of the colors. Imagine how pretty it would look with mica powder. I need more resin to make make more stuff an have more fun,great booth item 😁❤️

@@JeanandKenny pretty sure the temperature played a roll cause it's cold here,the size I am sure has something to do with it too. I am giving it 72 hrs before I sand the spots an then polish. I am tired today an probably won't be set 48 hrs. I have so many card ideas in my head so sketching before I forget or obsess lol

@kerrycanale9472 When I started watching her, she was still doing acrylic paint pouring & hadn't started resin yet. I haven't watched her for a while since I don't have room, it will just make me want to pour resin & I ain't got no room for it. Lol

I have been in my craftroom a few times,I have an order for cards so trying to get those done. Kind of on a creative block not sure what to do for ya all. Thinking I need to do some epoxy resin I do have molds I haven't used yet. What would you like to see?

@karenhughes3558 thank you, I try to be me 😁. I love trying new things, there are a few things I won't ever try again like sewing and knitting I am awful at those 🤣. Soon as I get the cards done I will be playing with resin,getting some rest cause I worked on those cards for hours an I am pooped lol maybe Sunday or Monday depending how I feel, prayers I keep getting better❤️

@karenhughes3558 hey Karen,thank you I am doing good just finished my second round of radiation. It makes you very tired so I been doing alot of resting and getting exercise walking my pups. I'm sleeping better an feeling stronger the last couple of days so I am hoping to get back in my craftroom soon I have so many ideas❤️

@@karenhughes3558 thank you Karen,thankfully I have a nice lady that is a liason for patience at the hosp that is going to help me with all the resources I need. She has gas cards waiting for me to pick up on Monday when I go for my next treatment. She is going to help with insurance an all I will need to focus on is beating this crap cause I have every intension being cancers ass. Thank you❤️

@@JeanandKenny I think that anything that would seel would work. Your pretty much locking the powder in the liquid. It's not as soft but still a fun medium. Fun if I ever get money again I may try that save. I was noticing most of my cards are for females so tried to give ideas for boys since those are the hardest to make. I need to get the finishing touches an post the pictures.❤️

@karenhughes3558 hey Karen I am good just been super busy with appointments and getting cards together for all the amazing nurses an nurse aids also made a bunch more cards. I was going to do a video lastnight but I ran out of energy then got a mean headache so I spent the day resting. I hopefully i will get a video done tonight. Excited to show some changes to my craftroom too.❤️

@karenhughes3558 thank you,I used dishwasher safe mod podge. There is a sealer designed for diamond painting but it's expensive an no different to me❤️

@karenhughes3558 it is a never ending process an even today I am still working on it. The process stopped for months,my room got so bad so all that work was a waist but I got right back at it and it is better then before. The closet is still a thorn in my side🤣🤣

Thank you so much Karen,doing ok today. I had my first pet scan today to see if there are anymore tumors besides the 2 they found. Praying there are no more. Those chipboard pieces are super old,I have had them for about 25 years lol. I think I ordered those from HSN or QVC when I started scrapbooking. I really need to check those sites again cause I bet they have alot of nice pieces at good prices. ❤

@fromcheaptochic I tried the scissors and I love them,I am down the road getting another pair that is how good they are. Next video I will test the paper studio blenders. @fairabbigailgrace thankful I have moved passed being upset with how much I spent even more so after looking at everything again. Regrets are gone. The ink pads with dyes, etc I know matters,I haven't tried them yet but I am glad I got them so I don't mix them and mess anything up the inks. I will be putting out a ton of videos cause I am so excited to use and create. I hope your ornament is coming along and not giving you a hard time❤️

I did complete the ornament I was working on and then completed another, which was a bit less complicated...plus I was too tired to be too picky on how even everything was. :) I have to make my nephew's birthday card for Sunday and then my plan is to get to that quilt. I'm looking forward to those videos Kerry! :)

@1966pennylane I sure can do the earrings this week,I will look through all my nail pieces an plan it out. I am not a big halloween decorator but you can spin anything I do toward that. I never got around to ordering from shein because I would spend so much on temu lol Aliexpress is another I never got to lol. I hope you start feeling much better so you can get out of there. Long stays isn't fun at all. I have gotten my resin from hobby lobby cause I didn't have luck harding the uv from temu and my uv light doesn't seem to harden it. May have to try again cause I could've done it wrong lol❤️

@@kerrycanale9472 I don’t think you’ve done it wrong. It’s just using the nail stuff really only cures in thin layers. It would take forever. It works for small nail decor. You just gotta cure for a few goes. I need to learn about resign. Only do that video if you feel up to it: no rush! Please take care of yourself. ❤️

@1966pennylane I prefer to use the self harding resin,I like that it doesn't flex..hard as a rock. I am definitely doing the earrings cause it excites me to try something new and I bought the molds so I could,now it's what colors,medium like ink,glitter,tiny bits lol All have to do is deside,complete a set then make a set so you can see the process. I am more then happy to do it and love you asked❤️ rest easy so you can heal an get home🙏❤️

@JeanandKenny Thank you so much. I almost wish i did a black backing with a thin frame. Oh i will just have to make another lol. It seems that using a die is the only way to do it. It makes me crazy when things aren't straight an like clock work without fail lol I may sharpen the blade an mark it better. Possible I may keep it incase I break my big one (after I throw it at the wall 🤣🤣🤣) seems my thumbs are the only spots an as much as I hate the feel of it but apply after every hand wash to stop the cuts. Fun times lol❤️

@@kerrycanale9472 I am looking forward to them! I just figured since it takes a while for pigment ink to dry it would be a great way to add shine by adding clear embossing. I haven't had a chance to try it myself with pigment ink, so I thought I'd pass it to you to give a go. I don't know when I'll get to it since I have a quilt I need to get done for a little blessing. :D I have started , but dang, I can't sew straight. lol

@fairabbigailgrace I love the idea of trying different colors an even the white. Works out because you can work on the beautiful quilts and I can play with the inks an we find out together ❤️

That's a good idea, I have a few pigments that never dry so I may as well try to use them with embossing powders :/

@karenhughes3558 thank you Karen,yes usually I tend to to use 80 lb or higher cause it doesn't warp with thicker cardstock from heat. Yes background stamps but you can use whatever you have and make a background with a single stamp. Ask ne anything an everything your mind comes up with,I want you to feel comfortable to try and have fun even if you make a mistake. I mess up often an that is so ok,it's trial error so we can find the best way that works for us. Thank you ❤️

Oh even without sound, the card turned out beautifully! Good call putting glue on the wicked sticky foam so you'd have some time just in case. I like that you popped that panel up too. I just love emboss resist, it gives such a beautiful effect and texture to a card. I don't do it nearly often enough! Beautiful work Kerry!

@JeanandKenny I know so many of us pay attention an knew you were one of my soul sisters. It's been a road to this point an even with this I know I have been blessed to meet some people like you that makes it pure gold. I still have an over the top list of projects but the fun part trying them all. I also wanted you to know I found the perfect spot for those scrabble pieces that you sent me spelling my name,my planner so I got you with me along the way. The hair thing grr but made the call I am rocking whatever crazy hair do I end up with lol one of the smart things in my life for help. I am a big foodie now since no smoking an can enjoy the food. I am putting on the pounds. Got another video going up and the audio crapped out haha yup me being me lol. I would so love to see you face to face,when I beat this road trip to you for sure❤️

@@kerrycanale9472 You will! So went to town (20 mi) to get a haircut and they didn't have my appt on file, so that's fine, I'll cut it myself - it's long so not hard. Anyway ran to DT, didn't find any cute things (chunky glitter and large coated paperclips) but got some folders, dice and butterflies for a shaker card (again the 8 yo). Went grocery shopping, was horrified at the prices (aren't we all?). Ken had picked the blueberries so all I have to do is clean & freeze them thank goodness, I'll pick again in the morning. I have NO earthly idea why I bought another 16 plants - the things grow to 6' tall. I'll have 32 and be picking for months. Oh well, my whole family likes them so we'll have them.

@JeanandKenny it stinks when you go for happy things an they don't have them. Oh the price shock makes me a loud mouth in the store ranting lol I plan to hit hobby lobby for paper stock clearance an maybe a few not needed but want items,oh an a better walk threw that new Dt I scored at. 2 appointments so I will need that therapy an will ofcourse show my goodies. Hopefully next time you will find some fun things❤️

@JeanandKenny thank you so much Jean,you have no idea how hood it feels to be in my happy space. I been in an out of there alot lol. Not suppose to be should be resting and walking but my body will heal better if my emotions are happy. Adult sequence kid sequence is how it looks to me lol. Oh when you can't find something you know you have..that is such a button pusher for me lol. Alot has happened an I know our heads are spinning so if I can't drive the board will help. One of the most frustrating parts after coming home is leg weakness, I drove 18 miles from my house an the legs were so weak,doc thinks it's one of the meds but it's tampering kind so I hope my legs get back to normal. I love walking the furbabies an it's made it incredibly slow and hard. I have everything set up to do the test project and have to show some of the things I did lastnight 😁. I have plans to make like 50 cards for all the amazing people that was right by my side and want to do every technique there is so this is going to help me with treatment. @karenhughes3558 thank you so much lady❤️. I am happy your looking at crafting again,life can definitely give you a struggle. One thing I knew for sure that when I could I would run back,the joy of it makes so many of us happy and no matter the struggle when we try to help others we can never forget about ourselves. I did trying to heal and help and I realized I am no good to anyone if I don't take care of me. Really hard to be selfish an has always been hard for me but we have too. I am limited as far as pain just sleep seems to be the struggle,I am now a napper lol. I am determined to beat this with all my being and the amazing doctors I am blessed to have. I will fight for my family and anyone that lost the fight,God has so much more for me to do he isn't ready for me not for along time❤️🙏
