- Today I'm fishing deep water in the Galveston TX from the jetty rocks. The fish I'm chasing after are some hard fighters and very tricky to catch. They're proving to be very difficult today.

2 questions. Where are you getting the blue crab these days? Also, I know where you were at in this video, so do you navigate walking the rocks to get there or walk the sand & then cross the shallow water stretch to get on the rocks where you set up?
I’ve walked out there both ways. I don’t recommend the rocks.
Get crab from the bait stores when they have them. Store ‘em in the garage.
Forgive my ignorance, how the heck do you keep from getting snagged at that location? I've been at that exact same spot and the current always drags my line till it's snagged. Can you give me some insight on what your strategy is for that specific location?

I have that same issue I was using 8 oz spider weight at that same spot and just kept getting stuck

How are you avoiding all the hardheads? I can’t get my bait to the ground before hardheads tear it all up.
Maybe it’s the type and size of the bait.
