- Cody vs Rollins: If Cody loses, then his dream is just thrown into the void, and the Royal Rumble win was all for nothing.
- Cody vs Rollins: If Rollins loses, he would have lost to Cody four times, making him look inferior even more, like Roman states
- RAW Top Carders: People like Drew, and Gunther would also have to wait a long time for their championship run, since Cody will be holding unto the belt for a long time (should he win)
- Damian Priest: this man has to cash in eventually, and we definitely know he won't cash in on Roman. Should he win against Cody, all of Cody’s hard work would once again be for nothing. And if Damian loses, the Money In The Bank would feel useless once again.
- Roman extended title run: Roman is definitely winning against The Rock, meaning he will have the championship for another year. 🤦🏾♂️
- Smackdown Top Carders : The top carders on Smackdown, like LA Knight, would all feel worthless, as its pointless to even challenge Roman. Like this is why people like Edge and Bryan left. There's nothing for them to do, but just get involved in pointless side stories while WWE is just extending Roman’s run for the sake of records 🤦🏾♂️

2011- The Miz, the third wheel in a story
2013:Cm Punk, the third wheel in a story
2024: Cody Rhodes, the third wheel in a story.
This is higher than Triple H, the execs needed a way to get the story off of the Vince allegations, so having The Rock vs Roman is probably their way of getting rid of the bad press.

*sigh* It took me a day. But here's what's going to happen (my BEST prediction). Cody will show up next week on SmackDown. He would challenge Roman reigns at Elimination Chamber. (Fast-forward) #1 contenders match at Elimination Chamber. Winner will be Drew or Randy. Most likely Drew. Drew will face Seth. Cody will defeat Roman at EC with help from the Rock. *To stop Solo etc.* (Cody will get his moment and Will help build up to Roman v Rock). Cody will come out on the next SmackDown and celebrate. Randy will come out to celebrate with him. then he'll get RKOed. LONG Story short...
Seth v Drew, Cody v Randy, and Roman v Rock. With Cody retaining his title at Wrestlemania. Cody finishes his story etc.
Everybody wins, everybody gets their moments etc. It's not bad booking via the circumstances. (Especially with Punk) I see a huge payoff. And this is why Cody's okay with The Rock taking the spot. Cody still going to get his moment with 60,000 plus at EC And he gets to face Randy at WrestleMania. Cody fans can still be happy. Cuz I'm happy for Roman v Rock. Also Drew fans can get excited because I believe Drew is going to beat Seth at WrestleMania. So he can have his moment at Wrestlemania (But as a heel) I see this as an absolute win!

Cody picking Rollins is a terrible idea. The Rock DOESN’T NEED TO FACE REIGNS FOR THE TITLE. What should’ve happened is that for WrestleMania Night 1, The Rock faces Roman Reigns in a none title match where the winner is the true Head of the Table. Reigns brought disrespect to the family and if The Rock were to face Reigns in a none title match and win, he could bring respect back to his family. Although, the winner of this match doesn’t really matter since both results have interesting endings. Then on Night 2, Cody should face Reigns for the title in the main event, beat Reigns, and finally finish the story. Something like this would have been so much better than Cody fumbling his WWE Championship opportunity.
We didn't got Gunther and brock for obvious reasons We ain't getting Punk and Seth cuz of injury but we definitely should have gotten this but rock politiced his way into main event

I totally agree with you. Cody was built up for this moment for 2 years. Fought in Hell in a Cell with a torn pec. Won 2 Rumbles, beat Brock does all this to get to Roman just to step aside for the Rock who hasn’t won a match in what 5 years. It’s a joke. Cody is the guy. He’s been the guy to beat Roman since his return promo. The Rock politicked his way into the main event and ruined the whole show. First of all, anyone who thought they would throw away the opportunity for Reigns v Rock is a fool. The biggest money match they could possibly book is happening. Second of all, Cody can wait. If they want him to win against Rollins, he can do that and drop it to Gunther in Germany. Then beat Roman next year. Nothing wrong with multiple world title reigns. Plus Cody's story is way more tied to Rollins than Reigns. He returned against Rollins and got injured by him, and never got his retribution for that. The massive obsession on the internet with Cody going over Reigns is strange to me. Especially hearing the pop and "holy shit" and "this is awesome" chants that Rock got last night. The majority of fans obviously want to see Rock v Reigns, and it's only a matter of time until Cody looses the support just like what happened in AEW.
