Whats so unique about Jacob Koller is not just his technical skills, he has successfully created his own style. An originality. When you hear his arrangements, you'll instantly recognize his style. And that, is a major achievement as a musician.

This is your style man! So much like reharm over each note, occasional walking bass sections, and constant jazzy rhythmic motifs, polished openings and beginnings. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of the other stuff you've been doing (and personally enjoy listening to those more "poppy" covers a bit more) but this reminds me a lot of your older videos. Good to be able to do both, and show that you still keep that one-of-a-kind style! Keep up the great work man, you're so underrated on YT but I suspect big growth around the corner :)

This reminds me of Bill Evans by virtue that Jacob has so many ways of keeping the harmonies moving and interesting. Bill had a multitude of ways to play the same chord progression. Jacob, like Bill, just seems to never run out ideas and keeps the harmonic changes interesting. Well played Jacob!

i know i’m not on this level yet but this is a great housing set to use as a jazz player or for anybody! i shall be downloading this and i’ll be using this as reference during my practice! i do know how to play the 7th, 9th and 11th chords, and understand scaling to some extent. such a nice song to!

its a jacob collier from another universe that somehow ended up on our youtube. either way, i really like your style of jazz, with a surplus of harmonization and rhythm. nice job!
