As a piano player, I wish you had an additional video of JUST the overhead shot (maybe an unlisted video linked in the description). I find that overhead shot SUPER useful to see what / how you do your magic so I can learn. I understand you want to keep things interesting with different cam angles though for regular folks.

So good. Spain is my favourite song, starting from Joaquin Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez. Chick Corea was incredibly daring to build on this wonderful piece to produce one of the most iconic and complex jazz standards.
You are one of the best of the best, if not the very best musician on piano, that I have seen playing, even though it was a video of you playing which to me was better than live, reason being is because I could watch what you were actually doing and pause it or rewind it.
Personally, If im playing a difficult piece like this it’s memorized by the time I can play it cleanly like he does here. It takes so much practice to get to this level of performance.
Since he's a jazz pianist I wouldn't be surprised if large portions of the soloing were also improvised and later transcribed, or if he made changes to the arrangement on the spot and edited afterwards for consistency. As a trained jazz musician you don't necessarily have to memorize every note exactly, the way you would for classical performance
They dont need to memorize it... jazz musicians are arrangers themselves because they understand music theory than classical musicians, their edge over the others is they can play all genres of music.
piano sounds like a whole orchestra and rhythm section. No other musicians needed. every note crystal clear and perfect. you are a great player
