Thats a nice environment to be in 🙂 , that red mexican sunflower is (tithonia rotundifolia) the yellow one is (tithonia diversifolia) the one used for chop and drop i think the red one doesn’t do as well as the yellow , and the yellow ones need to be propagated from cuttings because the seeds are sterile.

The plant @12:40 also goes by the name Mexican Sunflower , it is an annual variety called torch, Tithonia rotundifolia. It’s not the perennial variety Tithonia Diversifolia.

Was just out looking and planning, so friggen hot, is it me or is this year smoking hot. Do you guys graft citrus, have been planning on grafting a bunch of trees (long story) and was wondering how you do it(if you do). Also do you rotate tomatoes/nightshade plants and how long between replanting again. Thanks, sorry if I am bugging you but I have sooooooo many questions. I have had a lot of failures on different stuff like avocado die, apples live sort of, while grapes and pomegranates rock

It looks like you've mulched with wood chips? Do you have a source in San Diego for large quantities?

Tyler, thank you so much and I'm so inspired by you and what you've done. Are you selling some of your nursery items? I'm only an hour from you, but I'm not on Instagram. Is there another way I can contact you if you are selling?
