Coy Bacon, as a Steeler Fan I remember him playing against us in a Bengal uniform, and as a Redskin in 79. The USFL's Washington Federals in 1984 made Coy Bacon they're no 1 draft pick at age 41 !!! Watching this really brings back great memories as a kid growing up in the 70s. How I do miss the 70s.

You comment reminds me to say you what Fatboy did on Memorial Day 2017? I can tell you he wasn't at Arlington National Cemetery. The place that every president visited yearly. Only this so called man never showed. Next year look like he was annoyed having to go through the ceremony of laying a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then his absolute insult to the Soldiers of Normandy was disgraceful. Canadiand,Scottish, Brits,French soldiers died . I guess rain is his kryptonite.
interesting coverage of black QBs. to the extent it was “racism” it’s a question of impact. without free agency there is more negative impact, as competition for players would mitigate nearly all of that. but there is also a comparative advantage aspect that is only touched on and doesn’t get it right. the league still favored drop back QBs, and the rules did not protect running QBs at all. the more athletic and running, the more you are going to pay with injuries and your comparative advantage is diminished significantly. It wasn’t just racism, and lack of free agency had a lot more to do with all players being disposable assets, and this hurt minority QBs more. protection from competition has ALWAYS hurt minorities more in every industry.
