Banana hobby V-22 controls and sortie

Explanation of controls then full flight sortie.
Roll takeoff with props at 40 degs, speed flight at 0 degs, back to slow down at 40 degs before transition to vertical landing. Vertical take off to 40 deg slow forward, speed run at 0 degs then slow to approach at 40 degs to rolling landing.
On landing wind came up and turned me into wind which had me ending up on the grass. This caused foam wheel to come off the rim.
I think I'm going to do a front gear steering mod for better landings.

Nice flying! I just bought one and first flew it today. I will add the steerable nose wheel and angle control as you have...they look useful to have.

I heard this plane does like 45deg mode?

Hi Tom. I am wondering what you had to do for the 45 degs angle. I am using a spectrum dx 8 and wondered if you just set it up on a three function switch. Look forward to your reply

morety324 I’m not Tom, but to answer your question I use FrSky. I actually had it set up to use a 3 pos switch and a slider. The 3 pos switch had Forward, mid and vertical modes. In mid I could use a slider to select angle from 0 - 45.
