Welcome to the Blue Cactus Dairy Goat Ranch! We breed show quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats! We currently have a herd of 22 does and 4 bucks. Our herd is rotationally grazed on our 10 1/2 acre homestead in Arizona. We make cheese and soap from the milk we get and we also raise chickens for eggs and meat and keep a large garden year round!

I don’t think mama even felt the 2nd one come out! She didn’t miss a beat - just kept grooming her first baby. First boy takes after mom in the vocalizing department, that’s for sure!

I always watch your hands...when your gloved hands are outstretched and fingers wiggling back and forth, then I know you are anxious and something is not quiet right and are on high alert to take action quickly. Good job as always. My heart was shredding when Schillie was making those pathetic moans. I'm in love with the first born - just love his color and eyes, such a beauty. Can't wait to see the others.

My gosh her panting with the light bucking was honestly scary cause she seemed in distress. I was so happy you helped guide that baby out. He definitely had a huge head that needed a little tug. But the schillie’s mimi me flew out! 😳 Let’s say the first one expanded the birth canal and helped his brother pass with the help of your midwife skills. 😄 I love their head spots and the ears of the second boy. It is so funny cause the first one is a noisemaker for sure hahaha.. he got some lungs on him!! Hahahaha mama Schillie was sitting like Eeyore from Winnie-the-Pooh. Hahaha

I have 4 "kids", the human type. They were born at home in the late 70s early 80s. Having an unmedicated home birth is much like this. Lots of moans and a few. GET HIM OUT! The boys get to have all the fun, while mama does the hard work!
