This is excellent, thank you.although I've just bought a set, used, in really good condition from eBay for 11 quid. 11 quid! That's probably less than the cost of replacing the pads. So I bought a second set off him. No mic, but who wants to talk to kids and immature twats online anyway? The sound on these is incredible for the price. It's just as good as a £300 set I had for my audio set up. Kind of makes me question my audio snobbery now! 😂😂
The material that touches your ears ca be washed but the PU leather underneath won't do well with being washed. You could probably soak the top material and use some soap and water to scrub the top. Then wipe any water off the PU leather underneath and let the top dry.👍
I have never fixed that issue but it sounds like the cable on that side might have had its soldering let go. You would have to open up the earphone to check.

Can you wash the ones that is already on? There is nothing wrong with mine but they dont smell nice 😅

How the thing that goes on my head gets in the way
the right side of my recon 500 has been died for a year now, is there a way i can fix it?
