Ola muSiK, Estepario for the past nine years was practicing 12 hours a day, everyday. He dedicated 100% of his life to drumming 20 years ago. He practices every day and that's why he is as great a Drummer as he is a Musician. I only learned of him last Friday, October 27th, 2023. He has reinspired me to practice even more so so that I can become an even better Drummer and Musician and to strive to be the best that I can possibly be. I am 70 years old. Ciao. @leobell3502 absolutely have to get that practice in! I always do my best to get at least 2-6 hours daily. 12 is a lot and for Estepario, it just goes to show that it you put in the time, you can get there. Keep up the drumming brother!!
eivor is the vocal equivalent to him, she is the el estepario of singing. the last kingdom main theme live at apollo hammersmith or tr´dlabúndin live from norway or falling free live at the old theater in tórshavn. whatever song. just pure bliss
JUST A. FYI: Jorge Garrido... (El Estepario Siberiano's real name) ...was in a Metal Band called SARATOGA under the stage name Siberian Steppe before he went viral on the Internet.
What the looks of it, you guys watching a laptop or a very small screen?`I hope you can boost those 2(!) headsets with a real reciever with asweome sound to it. I use an old Pioneer VSX - D510
It's amazing how much I like my lepai lp-something obsolete it powers my surround speakers quite well from the headphone out, Thank to whatever tech reviewer recommended it ages ago Edit: They still sell it for 20-40 bucks =) which is about what I paid for it
Buddy Rich (for those who dont know him he was one of the GOATs of jazz drumming from about the 50s through the 80s) used to do the double stick up down highhat technique. Not putting this comment out there to say who was better than who. They are so different you cant compare them. But yeah its a technique that has been around just most people dont master it so they dont use it (or they just dont want to use it for creative reaaons)
Totally agree with you! Buddy Rich was the original gangsta drummer. For sure. Anyone who doesn’t know that, simply hasn’t done their research on the great drummers. No one can say anything about Buddy Rich. Great comment! Cheers!
Not as big on puscifer but opeth for sure! And I do like tool and apc, just never was able to get into puscifer for some reason. @musicbyjh might wear me down eventually 🤣
@@DreadDrumso pusicfer is a whole other vibe than tool and apc. tool btw is my number 1 fav band. i listen to puscifer when im like working or studying or chilling, its much more mellow and electronic. but i dont love every song. i like momma sed, bullet train to iowa, many others i cant recall.
@@zachary_smith1yeah, whole other vibe for sure. What I’ve heard is good music, I just struggle when I can’t jam every song on an album. Hate having to skip something because I like some songs but not others
Blinding Light cover will rock your world,,,, infact most of if not all his full song covers are jaw droppingly good,,,,
Thank you...I'll definitely have to check it out!!
Yea that’s my fav of his
100% right!!!
He produces and sells those kits himself.
His Varus bass drum looks like it was once used to shoot a human cannonball through a circus tent...

the rhythm shapes are so awesome in this demo he did
Now - it's Godzilla... you played one of his shorts featuring it - but now, the masterpeice is out - your take would be interesting to (see) hear.
Got it, thanks Sean!!!
He usually doesn't overplay, he always makes it better!
El estepario does occasionally do just "regular" drum covers. lol. He's done a bunch, actually.
Cool, which should I do next? !
Please do the Lindsay Stirling one. Underground!
Bongos or everybody dance now or hey ya or the freakin Toxicity Handpan version or or or .... MindBlown...@@musikbyjh

He owns that drum company. That's his personally designed kit.
That’s cool, I’m gonna have to check that out!

We’re watching on a 16” MacBook Pro. It’s not too bad. But we’re not sitting directly on top of it. We both have some pretty good cans though.

Would love to see you react to Chris Turner - 40 roll. It's insane drumming 1 take no triggers or snapping to grid. It's just mixed.
