Spectacular Mexican food restaurant in Cuba. I had a rest day there. Ate two nights in a row at the restaurant. Nothing else in Cuba to recommend. Ha, ha. New Mexico was a fabulous place to ride through in my opinion. I did the ride on a mid nineties Kona Explosif with 2.1 tires. Was not too hellish except when it rained. Learned to sit out the rain because the mud made riding impossible.
Cuba was all about El Bruno's mexican restaurant. I ate there the night I stayed in town. Avoided tons of rain, I cant imagine what the route would have been like if I left town.
Great vid, dude. I wish you would get a jetboil for your coffee every morning. I've had mine for over 10 years and it is so light and packs down very small. And best of all its about 15 cents a cup and its always fresh and hot. I just use mine for hot water only and it always stays clean. Wouldn't leave home without it. You need these little pleasures on the road. Thanx for vid.
@@TravelingThru222 I ran over so many cactuses. Would need a 100 patches with a tube. With tubeless I just keep riding. At 65 psi my tire push out a bit of sealant as well. Slow auto level to 55 psi I call it.
Yes, There are a few good resupply towns with bike shops from this point. It would be Grants, NM coming up shortly, and a bit further south There is Silver City. Both are towns with many options.
Everybody give this man a like for this video and also this amazing series! Carry on brother

great job going through cibola forest roads... glad you made it thru with no rain.
I hear ya, things could have been much worse with a little bit of rain.

Is there anywhere to buy a biycle tire even if you decided to buy one? Thanks for the update.

What month were you riding in NM when the wells were dried up?
I camp thru there in August 2022.
If you didn't know already, schwalbe tires are almost bullet proof
