  • Hi Guys! I know I do a lot of blonding videos but I wanted to show you what I do when the client just won't let go of that remaining brass in their hair. I've filmed a few steps of this client's journey. We started with dark brown and now we are finally here!

Do you have any extension clients with naturally curly hair? Would love to know if there’s any special tricks to blend extensions with that hair texture. I’ve had them in the past but they never blend right and are super obvious! Love your videos and have learned so much from you since I discovered them! 💜

I do spray tans. For your skin type, I’d use a green based tan. I prefer perfect glow brown rapid.
Exfoliate you’re hands the days prior to tanning.. Have the tan artist not spray your hands directly at all... the overspray will be enough

To fix the spray tan line, get some self tanner on a large make up brush and lightly blend on the top of your hands or anywhere that is patchy. Let it develop and rinse off. I have to do this no matter what since I wash my hands so frequently that my hands are the first to go.

Omg I’m always giving my clients hands a feet self tanning tips! Haha! So I’ve found the easiest way for a flawless hand blend. Either way if you’re doing it at home or at the salon, rinse with soap and water any tanning solution/lotion you got on your hands to get rid of any possible orange later (this is right after the tan is applied and it’s still kind of wet). Pat your hands dry and take a little hand lotion and just kind of melt the tan from your forearms and wrists into your hands. Just like you’re rubbing hand lotion on your hands. That way you just get the residue of the tan blended into your hands and the best blend. Works EVERY TIME. Same rules for your feet and ankles.

Beautiful result :) I love the pearl toners for this. The extension gave it that extra punch too!
Loreal Sublime Bronze self tan spray is my favourite self tan product that I've ever used. Inexpensive at Walmart (less than $14), super easy to use and dries fast ( can use a hair dryer to speed the drying) so you can get dressed right after application. I usually get three uses from one can.

Love the hair and about self tanning I always use a good moisturizer mixed with almond oil in my hands and moisturize where I am going to put the tanner. Let it sit for 3-5 min.. and put self tanner on but take damp rag and wipe knees, elbows, and ankles. Wash your hands and fingers then put self tanner on 2 cotton balls and do the top of you hands and fingers. I love Fake and Bake 60 min. spray it has blue and green pigment that is not as orange.

Sharon Dussault that’s what I was gonna write! I love loving tan express. It blends so good and they have a gradual tan to extend it 🥰🥰
Use a fluffy makeup brush to blend the problem areas and boom 💥 done!

Beautiful! I have a question, did you apply the gloss on her midshaft and end with the conditioner still on? Also, did you add any clear to that mids to ends formula?
    Love the results! Xoxo

Jessi, your amazing, obv ♥️I’m a stylist as well and love watching you! So for the spray tan, I don’t spray my hands or feet either. It’s a dead giveaway that your tan is fake and a spotchy mess. However, I keep one of my fav self tanners on hand and take a fluffy makeup brush and feather out from my wrists to my fingers. NOT IN BETWEEN the fingers or toes. Same thing from my ankles to my feet, NOT BETWEEN MY TOES. Don’t do your palms or the bottoms of your feet. Good luck babe ♥️

Is it a Mystic Booth? I use Evolv heated airbrush system (they invented Mystic) and I don't have any experience with the booths. I do know barrier cream will still allow a tan to develop, somewhat, so you could try to use more cream. OR get a foam tanning mit and bring it with you and just before it dries enough to get dressed, just lightly blot (don't rub) a couple of times on the backs of your hands. If you want to even that out, get a spray can of sunless. I like the Sephora one.or Neutrogena or Banana Boat. Lighlty mist your hands in the lightest formula ,while it's in a "tiger paw" pose. Don't freak over any cosmetic bronze guide color. Once the solution dries and you keep it dry and get it developing, the actual tan will look normal, not blotchy after you wash it off.

How long does it take for you to do a full head of highlights, half and partial? You’ve shown before what paterns you usually put your foils in BUT do you have any advice on where you can save time or be a lil quicker if you feel that you are a bit slow?

I’m a spray tan technician, make sure to exfoliating and apply plenty of lotion on those areas, some coconut oil prior and it works as a barrier yet it still gives you some color :) but tell your technician to go easy on those areas, she or he should know better lol

Why whenever I use any of the NA in shades does it sometimes turn my blonde prices a hint of blue. I know there is an under tone of blue in the na? Just curious how I prevent that thanks love you Jess

I spray tan a lot and do hair, (this is terrible😂) BUT - if I get tan on my hands I use lightener + 20 vol and let it sit until it tingles 😂 repeat if necessary. Bahaha don’t touch other areas of your tan though! I’m sure you’ve gone home with bleach splatters on your arms, too 😊

Put lotion on your hands right before (unscented). Then don’t leave it on your hands the whole time of the tan developing. Rinse, don’t wash, just rinse it off your hands after about an hour or 2

T is green to counteract any red tones. B is blue to knock out any orange as well.

But the hair itself doesn’t look healthy, and then there’s extensions over the damage. Do these people ever get trims?? Why is the focus not on the health of the hair?

    • @justjessiiii
      @justjessiiii  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Chess Hutchens she is in the process of going lighter and knows there is damage associated. Extensions aren’t damaging as long as done correctly and taken care of properly 🖤
