      Hey I'm thinking about buying one of these buy still undecided. I had to send back at least 3 pressure cookers because there were issues. Does this have that annoying prop 65 sticker?? I'm hoping not.

    • @NoahSwint
      @NoahSwint  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, there's a small Prop65 sticker on the bottom. I think that's needed for just about everything that's manufactured these days. I even see it on glassware. It's literally 3000 degree sand.

      @@NoahSwint oh ok. I'm going to purchase one and hopefully I don't have any issues. I've seen that on almost every electrical appliance. It made me return numerous things cause it's alarming.

    Noah... do an update after you cook in it for a couple months and let us know how the pot is holding up. I really like the stainless steel pot of the Insta pot and curious on how well the coating on IQ chef pot holds up. after you get a little more experience it will be interesting to see how much easier or harder it is to use than the Insta pot..... still having a little problem with the $150 price tag though. I like a number of things I see with the product, , would like to see an update after a number of uses. Very good video and explanation .

      Sure. I'll do a 6-month follow-up soon. I'm still using it.

      The nonstick gives me pause as well since I'm wondering how much of that coating comes off and into the food overtime.

    Is this pressure cooker worth getting? Did u have any issues? If so, what were the issues, and were they resolved

    • @NoahSwint
      @NoahSwint  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, I had issues about 24 hours after the video was posted, got a replacement and the replacement unit took forever to build up pressure. I stopped using it after about 7 months. th-cam.com/video/L1oUXrH-uNA/w-d-xo.html

    Great video! I wanted to know what is the Chef IQ status as of today? Have you came across with any issues with the pressure cooker? Is it still working? Reading pro and cons reviews, noticed many had the pressure cooker for only a few months and stop working. Your feedback would be appreciated.

    • @NoahSwint
      @NoahSwint  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Lou, literally a day after filming my 7 month long term review, the cooker stopped working. The replacement had an issue where the steam wouldn't vent. For my safety, I stopped using it and got an instapot.

    Can we get a stainless steel pot?

    • @NoahSwint
      @NoahSwint  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’d have to check with ChefIQ on that. Ceramic is the only pot type that I’m aware of existing.

  • @batman.._

    Can it automatically release pressure after say 10 mins? Seems it cant. Anyone here?
    Also I saw your other video not recommending it, what do you use now?

    • @NoahSwint
      @NoahSwint  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I'm using a instant pot now.

    More plastic teflon instead of stainless steel tells me profit instead of quality and health concerns of the customer took priority.

    I like to eat soft bones, can it allow you to cook your meat for longer time so that the ribs bones are softer

    • @NoahSwint
      @NoahSwint  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can likely use the slow cook feature. I haven't tried it yet. You'd have to investigate the appropriate amount of water to use to get it to the point the bones would be soft.

    Use the app for chicken wings next time. Also, try chicken stock instead of water, cook some chicken breast, then cook your favorite rice in the resulting broth! WHOA! Now you can do anything for the next 5 days with 5 breasts & bout 2 cups of cooked rice. Freeze whatever you do not use by then for later.
