Wouldn,t Mondos Kill count as Manslaughter rather than murder
I love how both Kiyo and Ryoma got death sentences, yet none of the remnants, the literal group of ultimate terrorists, get death (yes, i know they're brainwashed).
V3 characters’ backstories were all false too so Korekiyo didn’t commit mass murder or incest, since it’s heavily implied he was actually an only child before V3 as well. Only crimes inside the killing game really count for V3.
@@TheIndigoSystemwhere is it implied he’s an only child?
@@Luciferthekingofpurgitorywaiting for this answer. Can anyone @ me when they answer pls
He’s not an only child, he was groomed by his sister. He would be charged for murdering multiple women though, which is probably a death sentence considering he was almost at 100

Because of the context chiaki was just doing it in self defense against someone who was a active threat so Chiaki wouldn't be guilty
Actually, Tsumugi probably wouldn't get any kind of punishment because i can't imagine she would pull this kind of stunt and not make the participants sign a contract stating their willingness to participate
I'm not a lawyer, but I do know that contracts aren't the end-all-be-all. You can't always just get out of illegal acts just because your victims signed a contract saying it was okay. If people decided to press charges, I'm sure a case could be made against her.
@random767612e I literally know nothing in regards to law or anything like that, and you are almost certainly right, but I thought I'd throw that idea out anyway.
I'm sure the fact that she (or team danganronpa which includes her) brainwashed everyone with flashback lights making them total different people would play a big role in the whole contracts act. basically everyone who has been brainwashed (exept maybe for tsumugi herself cuz she's aware of flashback lights being fake) can be considered different people compared to those who sighed contracts. plus don't forget that everyone who signed them can be considered mentally unstable cuz of the obsession towards danganronpa. there's a lot of flaws and little things that can be used againts tsumugi AND team danganronpa (and i'm sure that if she survived survivors would sue her). but then again she's capable of avoiding the prison if she's considered mentally unstable too. team danganronpa could've brainwashed her too making her just a mere pawn in their hands
once again this would be a really complicated case. oh and don't get me started on what team danganronpa would get out of this all. cuz bruh they literally made people kill each other/themeselves making it seem for the world like just a fucking SHOW
If you sign a contract under this situation, I think the correct legal term would be "void-ab-initio", meaning that it is void before even signed as it is not valid to do the action being described. Since you are agreeing to be murdered, I believe this falls under this and means that this contract holds no value and Tsumugi would be prosecuted.
I know this is illegal, but I'm not 100% sure if this is the correct term to be exact, so if I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me.
Just now realizing how many crimes Gonta committed 😭
He may be a gentleman, but gentlemen aren’t above he law
He doesn’t get any time tho I’m bailing him out
Since he doesn't remember committing the crimes due to the messed up wires as well as being tricked into doing it, could that be a possible defense for him?
Kaito Lawyer: "He said he was not cappin your honor"
Me: "Not guilty"
In Danganronpa V3, Ryoma’s lore and why he has a secondary Research Lab for his talent being the Ultimate Prisoner is because he was so good at tennis back in his younger days that he had managed to LITERALLY KILL AN ENTIRE MAFIA WITH ULTIMATE LEVEL TENNIS MOVES when he was challenged one day. That’s part of the reason why Ryoma was willing to give up his life besides having no one to care about him anymore, he doesn’t even enjoy or use his talent at all because of his sorta rough past.
Yasuhiro out here getting nearly his full sentence before he even got in the game
Awww Sonia and Gundum both have 2 life sentences ☺️☺️☺️ Wholesome.
You forgot that Ibuki broke into Hajime’s cottage, wouldn’t that count as a crime?
9:19 that Miu scene was confirmed not to be SA or r@pe by Kodaka 😅
Also the love suites aren’t canon and weren’t written by the same people who wrote the main game, it’s basically just fanfiction.

I think a good lawyer could maybe get Toko put in a mental hospital instead of prison & also get her medication. Especially if Toko is willing to perhaps play along with an idea that she did not truly know what was happening with Sho.
Ye her and sho are basically two different people at this point
I think a good samaritan law would apply in Chiaki's case
Mass murder: Death Sentence
Serial Killer: Life
Me: MAKE IT MAKE SENSE
Kyoko Kirigiri may be guilty of illegal possession and discharge of a firearm (Danganronpa Kirigiri Volume 6), but also she was 13 years old at the time. But also it was a registered police officer who gave her the gun and instructions on how to use it, and all of her uses that endangered a human were clearly self-defense, so she’s probably off the hook for it
she framed Naegi tho. She also set him up like 2 times. Also stealing
@@ryzhik9608She didn't frame Makoto, she was trying to get the class to switch onto thinking it's the Mastermind's trap. None of her defenses involving Makoto were false, only the ones involving the Dojo. The only one that framed them both is Junko
It also technically isn't stealing considering the actual owner of the building is her dad, which would make all the property inside it hers once he died
@@spyghettighetti3066 since when it makes her property? That’s now how things work. She did steal and the monokuma-shaped key sure as fck did not belong to Jin OR Kyoko.
She framed Makoto. No matter how you slice it and dice it. She didn’t try to make everyone think about the trap like that. She stated that it is a trap but then was met with laugh by Monokuma and distrust of other (obviously), and when she realized “it’s all Monokuma’s trap” excuse won’t work - she started framing Makoto. Full on. Every time Makoto tried to give himself an alibi - Kyoko was quick to say stuff like “The killer did it to give us the same excuse Makoto just did, don’t bother saying it’s impossible”. She chose to sacrifice Makoto because she didn’t think that helping him will be safe. She framed him.
@@ryzhik9608 The Headmaster key from the headmaster room. It doesn't matter if Junko put a monokuma face in it, that's not hers. The fact it was on the headmaster room to begin with shows she didn't even have an use for it, why would she make a key she knows she wont use? its most likely she just altered it. Regardless, it would belong to the Kirigiri family.
Also, calm down. A debate with hints of passive-aggressiveness will just make it unpleasant for the both of us. This isn't even that serious of a matter.
I wouldn't wanna go for definitions since that's lame but the definition of framing is "produce false evidence against (an innocent person) so that they appear guilty." which is something Kyoko never does, as she never lies to say Makoto did it, nor ever produces evidences. Perjury, on the other hand is something she did do twice there, the "I've never been to the dojo" and saying she didn't have a way to go into her room. Even if you want to say blaming is framing then it wouldn't be either. As the Kyoko statement you went and took from the script is worded in a way that doesn't say Makoto did it, but that it's an excuse made in order to cover the truth. Kyoko's intentions in the trial weren't to have Makoto (and the rest of the class, because, like people often ignore, no one in the courtroom knew what would happen if either go blamed) be executed, that's not in-character for her. She was trying to force an status quo. If Makoto gets an alibi, then she's dead. Go back to Trial 1, "I don't think that's true at all. I'm sure if we keep at it, something new will reveal itself." the more they get to talk about the murder the more truth they will see and the more of the truth will come. That's how Kyoko's character works in like, every trial. If she becomes the only possible culprit then no one will want to believe her when saying to debate it more. Beyond that she never makes any more points to incriminate Makoto, because she doesn't want to, and isn't what she's trying to do. She didn't know the class trial had a time limit, either. Which is why she gets mad when Monokuma announced it, now is that what she would do if her intention was to get Makoto killed? no. Her intentions were to say only the mastermind could have done it right there and then.
I'm not saying she did no wrong in the trial- that's not right either, even her own character recognizes that. What she did do wrong was at the very end of it- not revealing she had the master key or confirming Makoto's alibi about him being sick. She could have endangered the whole class, maybe even herself, because she didn't speak up about either of those. She did abandon and sacrifice Makoto, and endanger everyone else, as she was in a moment of fear and confusion. Which is why she says she abandoned him instead of framing him later on. But at the same time, she has no idea what will happen whichever way, as neither Makoto does.
So, ultimately, strictly and even non-strictly speaking, Kyoko didn't frame anyone. Going off by that logic, Aoi also framed Hiro, Toko and Byakuya, which just doesn't sound accurate, does it? Blaming is as far as you could go with Kyoko, and i'm not even sure of that.
I'm glad you answered- i love that chapter and i love discussing it.
@@spyghettighetti3066 "Also, calm down. A debate with hints of passive-aggressiveness will just make it unpleasant for the both of us. This isn't even that serious of a matter." ehh, no. Not even heated to begin with, don't worry.
We can argue semantics about what "technically" counts as framing, however, we are running into huge issue called "language barrier". In my language "frame" and "accuse" mean the same. Frame is accusing someone of something while painting a narrative. That's what Kyoko did. She framed (or accused if you want to) Makoto of "giving excuses" to have an alibi. She didn't argue to *uncover* the truth - she argued to *cover* her ass, for the lack of the better word. Because everyone aside from her and Makoto had an alibi, her plan was to destroy the weakest alibi - Makoto's. That's how she can survive. It didn't benefit her to prove Makoto was sick, that way everyone but her would have an alibi. She chose to abandon Makoto and say half-truths or hide information altogether.
Can I blame her for that? Yeah, actually, I hate how Kodaka wrote this character to be all secretive and better than everyone else. Her own survival doesn't mean sh1t if she is going to sacrifice someone else for it, I'd still blame her no matter how perfect she is. It was a bad move on her part and if not for Makoto's huge heart - I think she should be facing huge distrust. If it was me - I'd never trust her again. It felt terrible, and I was actually happy that Togami later advised us to not put too much trust into Kirigiri. At least someone I can agree with.
If you like to talk about this chapter: I actually hate how nobody talked about the bomb. The bomb was Makoto's strongest alibi, cuz he was with others the whole time after the bomb was put out of the Monokuma, he couldn't have possibly put it on the body. Kodaka really wanted his sick twist with executing the protagonist or everyone's perfect waifu that he missed the fact that none of the participants in the trial could've committed this murder and cover it up like that. Kyoko wasn't there when the bomb was discovered at all, Makoto was with everyone else after this point and Toko - the only one who was present and had the knowledge and opportunity to place the bomb - had an alibi for the whole time the murder took place. They NEVER talk about that fact not in this class trial nor the next. While Kyoko was absent, so she gets a SMALL pass, Byakyua and Makoto could've figured it out easily. It's so stupid that none of them did. :(
Unless I’m mistaken, if Mondo got a good lawyer he might get the murder knocked down to manslaughter, since he didn’t go into that room intending to commit murder due to it being a “heat of the moment” type decision due to his reckless nature.
Wouldn't that be a second degree murder instead? I don't think jealousy is a good enough reason to count as voluntary manslaughter. Like, all Chihiro did was tell Mondo that he wanted to become strong like him. Mondo having a breakdown at perceiving Chihiro stronger than him and thus mocking him with his comment because of his own inferiority complex is not something Chihiro was aware of.
The crimes that sayaka got the last one "making k-pop" got me
I love how most of them got life sentences, and some even got several life sentences, or a sentence that they probably won't get out of in their lifetime.
And Junko... is Junko, too many crimes to count them and give a sentence, the title of ultimate despair finally obliges to something.
Junko's just an itemized list of everything that she'd get a life in prison and/or death sentence for doing or inciting
I feel like Peko could also have obstruction of justice in a legal court due to stealing the identity of a serial killer
If she was arrested with people thinking she was sparkling justice, the real one would be able to get away
Sakura probably wouldn’t get the 10 years for conspiracy due to the fact that she was being threatened and blackmailed.
OUR STRONG QUEEN IS SAFE!! 💪👑🥳
Some (Chihiro, Sakura and Gonta) should get “Too Pure” instead
In my opinion Peko should've gotten Attempted Mass Murder because she tried to kill everyone but Fuyuhiko.

Why is Yasuhiro being accused of fraud? Doesn't he really have that 30% correct prediction ratio? That may not look like much but 1/3 in anything you predict is really good.
Ps: is it because of the alien abduction story?
True. Unless he doesn't advertise is prediction as being 30% accurate. It's the customer's fault for paying him and putting stock in what he said
I really thought nobody wouldn't do this, but I believe you're the very 1st one that did it 👏👏
Fuyuhiko stole Junko eye. This is why he hasn't have eye as a remnant of despair. So he should have year more. Also you forgot terrorism in Mikan frame. And framing in Kyoko. Kyoko frame Makoto for murder.
I probably missed something but for byakuya's didn't he tamper with the crime scene in 1-2?
yeah. he messed with Chihiro corpse so it would look like genocide jack did it. that's why he got a 'tampering with evidence' crime on his list
Many of the 77th class would probably get off easy since they were either brainwashed or given an ultimatum,
8:38
So much being a Gentlemen Gonta
When they are fighting for there life only for half of them just ending up dead by the chair anyway💀😳
I believe due to the extreme circumstances some of the in danganronpa acts would be capable of being claim of insanity or straight up released without punishment of course not including people with knowledge of ongoing events like Sakura would get a full charge and junko would just be dead to the sentencing, and junko killed her sister, and Sakura offed herself so junko would take all blame ohh wait she offed herself too (kinda). So all at fault are dead and the survivors excused from their crimes due to exonerating circumstances so that's that for me
I love not using proper grammar.
Ryoma was already a convict on death row before he went to the killing game. He killed a whole mafia group with a steel tennis ball he made, that’s how he got the nickname “killer tennis” or something

Hmmmm. I think you probably should have Kept Toko and Jill separate as they only share emotions and not memories. But it would be functionally hard to punish one without the other in any meaningful way.
The only thing that would make this better would be if you made is specifically Japanese crimes, just out of curiosity on how different it would be. Other than some minor errors
3:03 you didn’t add the double life sentence, which you do for others
2:47 you forgot to add the life sentence on the final count
10:20 there should be a lowered sentence since it was to protect the life of another, something you pardon as “forced” murder in kaito’s section.
You didn’t account for the degrees of murder(1st,2nd,3rd) which most of the blackened fall under differently and have different sentences
You add perjury on some of the characters when almost all of them have done it, tho considering it wasn’t a legal trial, technically non of them would be charged for it
No way animal abuse gets life in prison but r@p3 gets 28 years
2:50 Toko would probably go to something alike mental hospital, wouldn't she?
Yes
I’m confused about kirumi Tojo. What did she do that conspired assassination? In her motive video she was summoned by the prime minister and she was tasked to with running the country 🧐

Why was leons murder charge 10 years, while sayakas attempted was life?
Leon’s can be debated as self defense, which is a lot less likely to give you a life sentence than attempting murder. The key word is debate though, so it really just depends on your view point.
@@golfballveryepicfr pretty sure the game confirms that there's no discussion about self defense, celeste points out that he wasn't under threat after sayaka locked herself in the bathroom. Well, not locked but you get the point
@@bookmarkobjectanimations123 Yeah that’s why I think that there was some intent to kill, but you gotta consider every possibility I guess
Leon had to kill her to prevent Sayaka from getting another target. Sayaka wouldn’t rest until she killed someone. She was unstable.
11037 did everything out of self defense, while Sayaka wanted to escape.
@@YourFavoriteNPC He could've tried to wake and warn everyone right after she locked herself in the bathroom(with him showing the letter he received from her, to prove he was innocent, since I saw some arguments saying, "but oh, if he left and tried to prove he was innocent, Sayaka could've manipulated everyone to go against him!") everyone would be beware of Sayaka, and perhaps try a group effort to snap her out of that state. And if it didn't work, put her away from everyone, tied up and only interacting to feed her, as some kind of social isolation, to prevent her from doing anything, kinda like what was done to Nagito in DR2. But I do agree that he was desperate and probably wouldn't think of all that, but still, he saw what was happening as an opportunity to escape, it's obvious he didn't do what he did just want to prevent Sayaka from killing someone else, even though that was also a motive. So no, it was not really self-defense and Leon isn't innocent like some people say he is.
why you saying that leon (11037) is AHOAHOAHOAHOA?
