I agree. I don't get why we got 15 fighters that has Ultimate and not all of them. 16 including Shadow Jago. I would like to see what it's like if Arbiter has an ultimate.

I miss the old times fatalities, but, these "modern" finishes looks good too. Hope for a new version featuring those two styles. ✌

I always preferred KI to MK but MK does have better finishers.
In my book KI are gladiators which fake the deaths of their partners, while MK are people in the purgatory unable to actually die.

No lo voy a comparar con juegos más sanguinarios como Mortal Kombat o Samurai Showdown.
Pero definitivamente éstas Ultimates palidecen en comparación a las de Killer Instinct 1 y 2, las cuales aún con los gráficos de su era no se limitaban en su grado de violencia.

Iron Galaxy should had made Orchid's ultimate for this game at least, hope if there is a new killer instinct game again someday they give her ult for that time

How do I get all these ultimates? I only have the ones from the ultimate pack I saw
There's three Ultimate Packs, One is the Master Pack, The other is the Ultra Pack, and the last is the Monster Pack, and each pack contains Ultimate for five fighters. Which is a total of 15. 16 including Shadow Jago.

This games Finishing is added which makes it Late. You do lp lk after the first couple hits and nothing. It was first for Shadow Jago. They should have left it with him.

I have no clue, but it be nice if they all have one.
My guess is either they never had the time to make Ultimates for every fighter or they were going to, but Microsoft ended new content for the game before they could do so.

That is because this Killer Instinct has a Teen Rating, while the first one, which got re-released as Killer Instinct Classic, was rated Mature.

Tienes que tener la vida verde, luego hacer un ultra para finalizar cuando este en peligro o danger y durante el combo apenas empiece, oprime golpe debil y patada debil al mismo tiempo y asi lo realizas. Ojo solo los que al inicio tienen al lado de su nombre una U pueden no todos lo tienen
All these Ultimate are not on the level of the first KI
That it very sad , the 3 fatalities of each character in the first KI were much better. They damaged the game, also many characters do not have the initial essence.

These are cooler than MKs which has violence but lacks creativity and are really not that interesting anymore (and also are way too long). There's space for both styles, though. KI should have brought back Humiliations too, just like MK eventually brought back Friendships (and put more effort into those than they did the fatalities 🤷🏻♂️).
Where's the blood?
This game is rated T for Teen, so they couldn't make the Ultimates as gory and gruesome as past games.
I haven't seen a good fatality or ultimate in MK or KI since the n64. They just get overcomplicated and uncreative.

Spinal doesn't have an ultimate. It's only the characters that have an ultimate finishers. ( which I wish all of them do )

Fan of the series, its sad to see how they butchered the series. Its pretty notorious when a game is made for cash grabs and 0 passion.
You have no idea what goes into making a game. The amount of effort put in by the developers is amazing. Without a passionate team this game would have never been made.

Well, that is the point, as Killer Instinct Xbox One is rated Teen, so the Ultimates are basically on the same level as Kano's silly stomp fatality from MKvsDC.

I feel as if they're stronger. In mk it shows you the gore so there's no implication, where in ki, implied violence kinda forces your imagination to form a different reaction.

Killer Instinct is actually a lot more like Street Fighter at least in the gameplay department and visually it has some resemblance to Mortal Kombat but Killer Instinct did enough things to make it different. Also many successful franchises are guilty of borrowing elements from other big brands so your argument has no weight to it.
