    It’s crazy that people thought that paying more than $2-$3 for a burger was insane, but now we don’t bat an eye when they can reach $9-$12. The same thing for soaps now. I’ll pay $8-$10 if it smells great and has top notch ingredients. Thanks for the intro to the company Ash!

      I remember when Carls Jr./Hardy's released the "$6 Burger" as their premium offering. I believe they still sell them, but under a different name.

    I actually appreciate you putting in time stamps, it means you actually want to be useful to your viewers. There are many youtubers who don't put in timestamps for the soul purpose of preventing skipping and increasing watch time, and don't get me wrong people are here to make money and that's 100% okay but I definitely feel much nicer knowing as a consumer, that the content producer/creator is actually putting in effort to help and is willing to be convenient even if that means maybe losing a little $ in the long run.

    You should check out soap distillery, all of their soaps are based on different alcoholic beverages and they smell great, plus their $8. Negroni, beer & cigarettes, and mint mojito are my favorites. Also, can you check a brand called wary meyers, they have some cool-looking soap and they made a bar of soap with ds&durga called iso e soaper.

    Dude. If you like soaps and fragrances. Best indie company for both these worlds in one run is Cellar Door Bath Supply Co. Really high quality 100% organic soaps with great scents ! After shower you do not need to apply any fragrance because scent of these make you a sillage for few hours.

    These actually look fantastic and the names are awesome lol. My only concern is... won't using high quality soaps take away from or interfere with wearing any fragrance you apply afterwards? With less expensive soap, you don't have to worry about the scent lasting for long which is ideal if you intend on wearing a fragrance.

    • @Q_N-
      @Q_N- 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually that’s far from the truth. I have a bottle of Sauvage shower gel and Ambre nuit soap bars from Dior. None of them have any lasting power. It’s just for self satisfaction when you wash yourself. Once you step out of the shower, the scents gone 🤷‍♂️

    • @TranceForLyfe
      @TranceForLyfe 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Q_N- thanks for the clarification. I wouldn't have known. I just kind of figured there was more to the expensive soaps. Maybe I'll check them out some time. Always used liquid soap personally

    • @Q_N-
      @Q_N- 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@TranceForLyfe Honestly I felt like I’ve wasted money on self satisfaction 🤣 So I switched over to buying my soaps from “The soap guy”. It’s essentially where Dr Squatch gets their products from. And the soaps are high quality hand made. There’s a myriad of selections, you might find something you like 👍

    Great video Ash! Would love to see you get into the wet shaving game and discuss shave soaps, aftershaves and perfume layering. It’s a lot of fun trying to figure out what meshes well together. For some pretty awesome soap check out Stirling Soap Co and Southern Witchcrafts (horror and sci-fi themed…right up your alley). Be well!

      Hi! This is Amanda’s husband, Mike. The response to Ash’s review has been fantastic. Unfortunately, A Mandatory Activity’s soaps are made by hand in small batches to ensure high-quality. The bars require several weeks to cure fully so that you get the longest-lasting bar. I hope you will consider placing an order and we promise to ship it as soon as it’s ready. If not, consider ordering some of the other great bars that are still in stock, like some of our beer soaps or Pipe Dream. We look forward to having you as a customer.

    I bought their soap and love them because they just work well ans don't dry my skin out, but with shipping cost and the price of the soap it can get pricey at 9 or 10 dollars a bar plus 9 dollars shipping. What other bars do you recomend that don't dry you out that are similar

      @@sk8girldecks11 I have corrected what was a predictive text error. But…….you obviously don’t know anything about Lush, the quality of the ingredients, Constantine and the lengths he goes to in order to create the perfumes that are made. I have a collection of over 300 bottles have been in this hobby for decades and know what I’m talking about. Not all Lush is to my taste, but to label it as garbage demonstrates an ignorance and arrogance of epic proportions.
