If you have access to a gym the lat pull-down machine will help you progress until you get to about 10 strict pull-ups in a row. Once you can do 10 straight pull-ups in a row you should start adding weight to some of your training sessions. If you have access to a gym do arm exercises like bicep curls, hammer curls, risk curls and don't forget to do pushing exercises as well like push-ups and shoulder press.
