    The homie is so correct Blacks & Mexicans were cool but we respected each other. I had a homie in Venice
    and we were cool I was in the 2nd grade I could go over his house. His momma would be making homemade tortillas on the stove. And I would be looking like dang what she doing. Then made momma would come over to check on me and like me. Always sit down and listen son, then my mom would be speaking Spanish and I was like damn what’s going on. His mom and my mom was cool, later on my mom said she took Spanish in school. Menudo and other Mexican dishes my mom talked to me about. Never spent the night over but me and my homie was real cool.

    It would be great to make a video specific to what old school crips said about bloods (and Vice versa ). It was super hard and not always glamorous. Many stood up. But there were some that stood down, which made it even harder for the stand up ones. It was not all peaches and crème
