The activity for Grade 7 students on Acids, Bases, and Salts focuses on experiential learning and comprehensive skill development. Students of Grade VII explored the properties of acids, bases, and salts through an engaging hands-on activity. Using common household items like vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, and salt, they tested substances with litmus paper, natural indicators like turmeric, china rose, onion and chemical indicators like methyl orange, Phenophthalein.
Through hands-on experiments like testing substances with indicators and observing colour changes, students not only grasped scientific concepts but also developed critical thinking, observation, and teamwork skills.
This activity encouraged curiosity and real-world application, fostering both cognitive and personal growth in them.
This activity helped students identify acids, bases, and salts, understand their properties, and connect the concepts to everyday life, making learning fun and practical.
