Nomads of the Sea - A Sea Kayak Film to cheer you up!

- In 2020 we had big plans.
Several expeditions and trainings were in the making, I wanted to start my BCU education to become a sea kayak guide, there were lots of ideas for new films in the pipeline, a full 2020 schedule.
Unfortunately all came different, all plans are cancelled or at least on hold, especially friends with businesses are struggling.
But, as sea kayakers we are used to be resilient, we never bust our heads in the sand!
With this film me and my friends from Moryak Premium Sea Kayaking, Expedition Paddler and ISKGA, want to encourage everyone to stay optimistic, make plans and concentrate on what can be done!
Take online classes, plan your next expedition, reach out to friends and support your community, read books, learn something new, be creative!
We hope everyone is doing well out there, and we cannot wait to get back on the waters with you!

Cool video thanks for making and sharing it Tom. Dreaming of those days camped on the beach listening to the sea again, just to even look at the ocean will be amazing!. Also had plans on getting my BCU courses done but put on hold. Fingers crossed we wont have to long left now. Cheers Mike

Have you also had to pause your BCU plans due to the lock downs? I wanted to start the trainings last May, but had to postpone to this May. Fingers crossed that it works this time :D

Beautiful!!! :) I have an inflatable kayak I take with me to Lake Tahoe every summer. :) I've had some terrible luck kayaking in the ocean hitting a random thunderstorm in Hawaii and tipping over in San Diego while staring at 15 leopard sharks right below me. LOL. I think I'll stick with lake kayaking for now.

Tom Vetterl Western Québec, Canada. My daughter and I are booked to visit "Mer et Monde" for our fourth time. Near Tadoussac. All about the Whales!! That's only in August and nothing has been cancelled there so there's still hope!
