    I don't find the heat too bad once the sun goes down. The other concerns aren't particular to the area I would say. Overall, having lived here a year and a half (through two summers), I think it's great!

    You definitely nailed it. So, we're going to be chased down by an avalanche of wild insects and snakes. ha ha
    Laying the law down with whoever's crying about this stuff. Nothing to fear. The video cut out a little when you
    mentioned the electric bill being $800 and I think you're referring to an 1800 Sq Ft. house, correct? To confirm,
    if one wants morning sun tapering away later in the day- have your backyard facing South or East?

      Sorry about that! Yes, I was referring to an 1800sqft house. Sun rises in the east, so most full timers want to avoid West/South exposure. If it were me, I'd avoid anything Southwest or Northwest. The afternoon sun is not pleasant, unless you have lots of shade!! There's always ways around it. :)
