Hey Craig, I think you took my comment really far out of context. It was meant to be a response comment to the other magician who had a bad experience at the wedding convention. It was not meant to be a question or a jab at you, but I definitely see how you could take it that way. When I said, "Magic can be ego driven," I didn't mean it as a bad thing. Also, when I said "wrong people" I was referring to online trolls and such. My apologies for the poorly written comment. I do agree with everything you said about ego, but I just hope you don't perceive it as negativity towards you after reading this. Also you are right it was a very wishy washy comment made in haste.

Do you think it jist a light notification or what. Seems like have to hold it close to the Ma*n*+ I was thinking on getting Control for the “goodies”that come with it to see if I’ll get better notifications with those items. Am I wrong? Thanks again

On the recent 5x5 with the closeup magic props, I think it would be cool to brainstorm in real time different props and routines to use for off beat moments of magic! An idea I have would be a bell that can’t ring but tell the spectators it rings when magic is near by and then have a hidden bell ring instead of snaps!
You recently did a how’s and why’s of TOOL. What is the patter for hitting the deck with the box. I have tool haven’t used it for years. If you hit the deck they’ll know it’s the Box. Your suggestion. Thanks again

Last year I used a change bag to produce them out of thin air, which was a success - Any other idea for tricks that are quick, snappy, can be performed to kids, standing at my door, and end up with candy that I can hand out? Not necessarily looking to buy a commercial product, even just some simple idea with common items will do. Thanks in advance!

Hi craig! Thanks a million for everything you do you are a diamond in the rough. Question about audience management *what would you do in this situation? Story - just yesterday at my regular restaurant residency, I had a table of 12 (8 10 to 6 year old girls, two toddler boys too small for any effect, and their two mothers who were checked-out with a glass of wine) I had entertained three of these girls on two other occasions and they really loved the magic so they were anticipating me being there this day.. however with the new edition of their 5 extra friends all they wanted to do was catch me, heckle and call out what they thought was going on - "it's in his ring! it's under his watch! I know how to do that trick!" etc etc, it devolved into a shouting match among them all making my plans fully interrupted and netaging any impression and effect impossible at every step of a routine which none of them had seen yet. Attempts at corralling their attention and focus failed again and again and the moms were oblivious to my now role as a free babysitter. Finally.. They had some other friends (2 older girls) at another table nearby who were interested so I wrapped up and moved there. One of the OG girls asked if she could do one this time - perfect, an assistant - I decided to do egg bag.. But this girl defied all directions and just called out the suspected secret pocket, then reached over and grabbed the egg and crushed it inside of the bag during phase 2! I had just failed miserably at two tables over this, and left these usually fun girls feeling less joyous as my patience waned. Ugh. I had to take a 15 minute break to reset myself after that insanity. What would you do in this situation?

if you order the Sven project... Go ahead and get a few extra Sven decks. I would recommend 3,4 or 5 decks depending on your budget. It comes with one but you will want more. It will be worth it.

Ive always loved the idea of having someone sign a card, and then calling attention to the window, before spraying the glass with the deck. Please dont say joa mirandas version. I dont wanna go broke over one trick lol Second, i have a friend whos not a magician, but ive taught him a little so i could have some constructive criticism on what could be better. The other day, we were all hanging out and someone said to do a trick, so i did my original nest of wallets routine. Everyone loved it, and someone offered to pay me money, as a joke. I obviously declined, but then my friend started talking about how it could go to my magic fund, so i could by gimmicks and trick decks at penguin magic. I was absolutely horrified. What advice could you give me to ensure something like this never happens Take it back, one more thing, i suggested this awhile ago, but ill just say it again, "10 tricks that would work on a Got Talent."
