Thailand has some awesome LGBTQ+ series (including things it's hard to see in other countries, like the asexual lesbian couple Cris and Amm in the Thai series Friend Zone 2: Dangerous Area), as well as my personal favourite onscreen LGBTQ+ first kiss, the one between Korn and Knock from Together With Me where they were drunk and it just slowly happened. (The plot was trashy, but the kiss was so well done :P)

I decided to come out when I turn 21 when I have a stable job so that incase they won't accept me for who I am I can support myself when I start to transition..... because the other day my mum ask me what I think about myself she told me to wear dresses and be more feminine that god made me a women and should be grateful about it after that my younger brother told me that God wants me to be happy that it doesn't matter if I want to change myself from the outside as long as I stay the same in the inside, he said "They don't get a say what you want to do with your life its yours, make yourself happy not others happy, change what you don't like, Change is better than to stay the same and not liking it". (sorry for my bad English)

- mafuyu and uenoyama kiss from given ep 9. the performance before it was just so powerful and the kiss afterwards just T~T _chef's kiss_
- Momoe and Kaoru in wonder egg priority episode 10. I don't think I have seen a t4t kiss in media before. I'm telling you my heart melted and I cried tears of joy. (we'll just ignore what happened after that)

Seconding this one! I feel like most of the recommendations are perhaps a little kiddish (nothing necessarily wrong with that‚ but variety is important) and I feel like the more mature tone of that movie is likely to be to Shaaba’s taste :-)
My thing about LGBT kisses on screen: they have to look realistic for the setting and give off a feel of authenticity. I, personally, watch a lot of BL dramas from places like Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan. And, for me, the kissing scenes will make or break a show. If it doesn't look realistic, or their reactions seemed out of character, or they cringe/comically react at the contact, from someone they are supposed to be in love with, it just ruins the show for me. Granted the industry has changed by leaps and bounds in the last few years, stopping the horrible practice of using camera tricks/angles to make it seem like the characters are kissing when they aren't really. But they still have a long way to go, in most instances, before kiss scenes equal or surpass Hetero kisses in most shows/movies.

I was so traumatized by Pousseys death. I cried for literally weeks. I know it is only a show, but I just couldn’t get it out of my mind. She was one of my absolute favorite characters.
i went through that when lexa died & i still can’t continue the show, even though it’s been years. she meant so much to me, it was like losing something in real life.
that feeling is completely valid. tv shows & movies (or specific characters) can have huge impacts on our lives for a multitude of reasons, including a shared identity or story, specific interests etc.
i actually read once, that to people’s brains a character can become just as real as people in reality. if that is taken away due to a character’s death or a show being cancelled, it makes sense that people will actually grieve.

Zude is a a ship from a show called hit the floor, it’s a basketball series, and I think it’s okay, like not that interesting but I really like zero and Jude, zude, they are kinda cute
Once Upon a Time, season 7 Robin and Alice, first time they’re on screen together, massive kiss, swelling music... and no angst, no drama, nothing about no daughter of mine is going to be a lesbian. Every single last person sees this as a normal relationship as magical as any other on the show. Hands down my favorite kiss

The Euphoria kiss does get reciprocated, it's just complicated because of the characters and the deep problems they are dealing with. Jules and her relationship to femininity and how that affects who she hooks up with, and Rue's mental health and addictions. It's a great show. DARK. But really good.
If you do a part 2, you should include Avalance (Sara and Ava) from Legends of Tomorrow. Sara is by far the most developed queer character I have ever seen. Legends of Tomorrow in general is also just a really queer show.
I think I replied to one of your comments earlier, but I must say you are absolutely right! For me the best part about LoT is that there is so much queer representation yet they don’t make a big deal out of it. It isn’t about the queerness, it just happens to exist, like in real life!
@@magnumroos2760 yes!! i think that’s why i love both avalance and clexa so much. it’s because they are both in shows where sexuality is not a big deal. people like who they like and then that’s that. but at the same time their sexualities don’t seem insignificant. they are an important part of them, but they are not all these characters are.
i’m not sure if this makes sense, but what i’m saying is that i really appreciate shows like LoT and the way they go about representing sexuality and stuff.

All I could think of were my 2 favorite "first 'gay' kiss"es from Sense8: Lito and Will's kiss while Will is working out and Rajan and Wolfgang's kiss at the end. That first one was so wonderfully shot and steamy..... To me though, that second one felt like closure. Wolfgang and Rajan building their relationship from their shared love of Kala was the final connection that needed to be made in the wider cluster group.

I feel like adam and eric's relationship premise is really problematic but the way the show handled it was amazing. they don't just get together ignoring the fact that adam used to treat eric like shit (they do kinda get together but otis tells eric how problematic that is and that he shouldn't put himself in that situation and then he breaks up with adam), adam has to work on himself first and get his shit together so that he can really deserve eric

I wish there was Malec and Gallavich as they are my fav couples.
In Malec, Magnus is bi and Alec is gay but isn’t out and their first kiss is when Alec storms down the aisle at his wedding to Lydia and kisses Magnus in front of everyone he knows.
In Gallavich, it’s a very sudden and simple kiss but Ian is openly out as gay and Mickey isn’t out (as gay) at all (and isn’t for another 1-2 seasons). Ian had a thing with this old guy, Ned, and Mickey asked Ian why he liked him and Ian said “he’s not afraid to kiss me” so when they go to rob Ned’s house (on Ned’s request), Mickey runs back to the van after his brothers/cousins go into the house and he kisses Ian then runs into the house with his middle finger up at Ian
I also really love Charlie and Alex from 13 reasons why. Their first kiss was after a fake school shooting where Charlie helped Alex get through it. Charlie is bi and Alex never specified but has dated girls before.

My favorite of those was Moonlight--which sounds kinda cheap b/c it's the only one I've seen, but I really really loved it. (Will forever regret turning off the awards show in a rage when they "lost" and missing out on the big moment, but it sure was nice to wake up to, lol)
